Repititive lyrics in songs was actually very popular in Kpop around the 2010s. Good examples are Super Junior's Sorry Sorry and Shinee's Ring Ding Dong which became massive earworms (even became forbidden music for SAT reviewers because they're so addictive). I guess the repetitiveness is intentional in Basics because aside from B1&2 being ONCE and TWICE. B1&2 also means between the 1000s and 2000s music eras.
