I'm really excited to see that this is getting a reprint! I haven't collected Pokémon cards since they first launched when I was a kid, but I've always kept up with the major Pokémon games from Game Freak. It wasn’t until I tried TCG Pocket that my interest in Pokémon cards was reignited. 151 feels like the perfect set for me. I'm not looking to invest or turn a profit... I just want to collect this series for the nostalgia, the memories, and the enjoyment it brings. I really hope this set is widely available, as I haven’t been able to find any 151 products at retail price yet

I tried buying a few decks back in 2010 for the first time ever. For financial issues I immediately stopped and now I’m going all in as of the last month. But I never realized the TCG was this crazy, people are going looney for 151 and I don’t understand why. It’s all about the money I guess? Too bad it’s not about the hobby. But here’s hoping I can finish at least 1 expansion binder.

been able to find a whole 2 etbs and 3 poster bundles of 151 - tried opening some surging sparks and paldean fates and it's just doesnt hit the same.. i enjoyed opening 151 even when just getting regular holos cause they were pokemon i know - opening ss and pf felt like i was just opening lottery or somethin tho.

Speaking of 151, it would be awesome to see you spin up a video on the (seemingly ever-growing) English 151 Master Set. Researching the card variants for this set has become headache-inducing - from the Costco box foils and non-holo battle deck rares, to the Play promos and Professor's Voltorb, there doesn't seem to be a coherent or comprehensive list anywhere that I have been able to find!

As an alternative, Japanese 151 booster boxes are widely available now. Usually under $100.00 Usd.

Yeah I wish this was going to be a good deal. Luckily I never have a problem finding things at retail due to where I live but $5 per pack is just nothing to write home about. I guess considering how expensive 151 packs are on the secondary market it's not terrible, but man that Sea & Sky box was sooo good I was hoping it'd be a similar situation!

151 isn't going to get the crown zenith treatment. However, given the long release schedule for prismatic evolutions, i expect that set will be printed like crown zenith.

Is there a free way to get alerts on products? I would like to buy some pokemon products I want at or below msrp but everything is selling out with an hour... I know for a fact the owner of a LGS is trying to buy out the target pokemon deals ($20 ETB) im not hanging out at target all day like him. Blooming waters was gone within an hour. Is this just how collecting pokemon is from now on?

The page I followed posted the Blooming Water preorder as soon as Best Buy dropped it, and it went out of stock within a couple of minutes. I dont see this being able to keep up with demand. At least not for a while even after official release. Unless everyone gets distracted by prismatic.

I don't think the blooming waters box will be overprinted as you mentioned. Simply because The Pokemon Company's printers will be busy with Prismatic Evolutions and the other high profile sets that come out in 2025.

I am still trying to finish it. I have reached a point whete I decided to buy the remaining cards I need on the secondary market which will be cheaper in the long run. I would however pick this up. If I got any doubles i could get them graded as singles and keep my set in binder.

what them arrogant filthy companies need to stop doing is them pre-order nonsense. Good old get in a queue and make it like 2 boxes per person limit. Give name and registration to avoid scammers and scalpers. That would drastically curb the fake demand and let everyone have an equal chance at getting this box. Disgusting behaviour

151 and shining fates are in completely different leagues. 151 being readily available is just not going to happen, too many people chasing the master sets and too many chase cards, alt arts etc, new people getting into the hobby. It’s the best set in scarlet and violet to date, sorry to burst your bubble.

This product is wildly underwhelming. 151 has been out for so long I’ve been done opening and buying any products for it for a hot minute. This is basically just a sealed product for either collectors who want to display those two or to sell. The promos aren’t even different other than the jumbo.

I am so sick of Pokemon taking regular cards from the set and just putting them in box set acting like they are “promos”. All it does is hurt the value for cards that already don’t have high value and just nuking them. This box should have just had jumbos of the big 3 from the set.
