A rain 🌧 soap, a field soap with purple flowers like this, a blue/grey ocean soap - a warm sun soap. So many different options that even if you weren’t a twilight fan the soaps would be amazing!! 😂 I’ve been to Forks, WA twice! A family trip and a girl’s trip!

Every couple of months I do Star Wars, the Hobbit movies, Lord of the rings, the Divergent series, and last but not least, Twilight. Jacob's could be different shades of brown with a woody scent and some little brownish gold glitter to represent his eyes with the tribe tattoo stamped on the bars! Edward's could be grey and white and have a lite flower scent and have silver glitter on top and the Cullen crest stamped on the bars.

As a 48 year old who was obsessed with vampires throughout childhood and beyond (my middle school term paper was on the myth, lore, and history of vampires, plus I was absolutely obsessed with The Lost Boys movie for years,) I completely jumped on the Twilight bandwagon when the books came out. One of my closest friends and both of our teenage daughters read all the books, plus the 4 of us went to see all of the movies in theaters. My biggest issue (other than the grossimprinting of Bella and Edward's kid by Jacob, ewe) waste stupid thing about thevampires sparkling like diamonds. My husband knows how much it aggravates me (even though our Twilight phase was years before we met,) so he uses every chance he gets to make a joke about sparkling vampires just to get under my skin.

I love this soap! I grew up watching these and reading the books and have so many lovely memories around the series. Idk if people will see this, but I want to encourage folks who are a fan of the series to look into the Quileute tribe’s current goal to raise the money to move the tribal school and cultural centers out of a tsunami zone. Despite the fame of the series, they haven’t been able to raise enough money. You can read more about it or donate by looking up the Quileute Move to Higher Ground.

So, I have to tell you all something hilarious: I wrote my college thesis on adjectives in Twilight! I am not a huge fan, but I was definitely impressed that girls who didn't want to read would read these huge books! I noticed that lots of detractors would complain about all the adjectives in Twilight, so I analyzed the text! It does have a large number adjectives, guess who else uses lots of adjectives: teenage girls! The intended audience. So I postulated that that helped the books do so well.

Hi, Katie! I think the purple berries you are referring to are actually called Beauty berries. They are edible, but very astringent. You could make a jelly out of them it supposedly tastes like strawberry champagne

I have all the movies, all the book (hard cover) and as audio-books. At my work as long as we return phone messages voicemail timely (I did mine before lunch and before I left for the day) and it is not our day to cover the mainline, we could listen to music and audio-books. The stories were so familiar to me that I used them for white-noise because an office is never quiet. The great thing about them was the fact that when I finally returned to the story I knew exactly where we were in the adventure. I am definitely Team Edward. If you get a chance to listen to them on audio-books, there is so much more details in the stories. I highly recommend "Midnight Sun". It's the first Twilight book from Edward's view point. You really get a sense of the thirst he felt and what he had to do to overcome it because he loves Bella so much.

I loved the books when I was younger and the movies are comfort watches for me now (the 1st one is my fave) I hope you make this soap again or another twilight inspired soap. here's an idea if no one has suggested it before: lavender as a top botanical to represent Edward's meadow! the soap came out so pretty. First of all, I LOVE this soap. The colors, the fragrance, the subtle gradient? Incredible. Now, I read all the Twilight books when I was in middle/early high school and I was completely obsessed. I'm pretty sure I've reread the first one more than any other book I've ever loved. I went to see every one of the movies in theaters (I actually saw New Moon twice in theaters!) but by the time Breaking Dawn part 2 came out, I was pretty much over it. I had realized how many questionable things were in there and how unhealthy Bella's relationships were with both Edward and Jacob. I still went to see the last movie with my mom because the series was something we had bonded over. I have since circled back around to enjoying them but in the way where I know they're like... kinda bad but in a fun way. I recently convinced my cousins to watch them for the very first time and it was incredible to see their reactions to some of the wild things that happen.

I remember blowing through the book series while I was pregnant with my daughter... and when I came to the end, I cried. My husband was like, why are you crying, now that it's over? I said: "Because it's over! I need MORE!" - I was NOT happy with the end... it didn't feel final to me. The movies weren't any better on that bit of story line either. BUT, I was always team Edward, until the second movie, when Jacob buffed out, and then, lord have mercy! LOL! Yes, Taylor was quite the young eye candy from then on. LOL! And Katie, I think you did a very lovely job on that soap! I imagined the tree lines, mountains w/the layers. What a lovely job! Sure wish smell-a-vision was at work already! LOL!

I grew up on the Olympic Peninsula. It's great to visit! Twilight pretty much revitalized Forks---it was a logging town slowly drying up as it's young people moved as far away as they could. The Twilight tourism and increased interest in the beautiful natural locations nearby like the Hoh rainforest, Lake Ozette and the Pacific Ocean trails. The Makah Cultural and Research Center is also worth a visit, and there are number of fun festivals in the area celebrating the native traditions and history. It's well worth a trip!

I read the books in high school , HATED the first movie but gave the rest a chance. My favorite was Breaking Dawn, the other vampires from different cultures was interesting to me. Pretty sure the plant with the purple berries you were talking about is beautyberry! I just found a variety that's supposed to be more cold tolerant that might possibly grow here in northeast Wisconsin and I'm excited to get one, they're so pretty!! And I think the "fake cedar" tree you mentioned is ashe juniper, which has gorgeous blue berries that actually are edible, even raw! Just make sure that's what they are first, of course😅
