I tried this with my cousin and a handle of vodka. The rules were simple: drink every time someone says or does something stupid. Honestly we cleared the first movie with not too many shots taken. But somewhere in the second movie we blacked out, and the last thing we remember was cooking shrimp at 3am but we couldn’t find a spatula apparently so I was turning the shrimp with my fingers. I’m guessing that last part because I woke up stinking of vodka with burned fingertips.

I’m 17 and I just recently watched the whole saga well becuase of Robert Pattinson don’t blame me lol, but I remember when I was in elementary school my older sister and her friends would play wolves vs vampires in the park and I remember they made this whole story completely different to what the movie was about, and I believed it was the movie they were role playing, one time one of the girls legit bit me and my friend on the arm and made us believe we were actually vampires, we would drink cranberry juice and swore to never tell our parents that we were vampires. Watching the whole saga now although I sort of enjoyed it I was disappointed that the story wasn’t the same as the one my sister and her friends made up 💀😭

Thanks for blessing us with this video! 🙏 In my opinion, the franchise would have been better had it actually focused on likable, interesting characters, like Rosalie, Jasper, Alice, Leah and even Charlie. Instead, they all get shoved into the background, and we have to suffer through a boring love triangle between three bland, despicable people.

LMAO! I write books and in one of my books, the hero has a stalker and his heroine is his bodyguard. I literally was thinking of this scene in Twilight when I wrote this section because I always thought that was a foolish way to fall into a trap! 🤣 She thought about what other specific instructions she might need to give him and realized that he shouldn’t trust the voices of his friends. “You will keep your phone on you at all times. In the unlikely event that someone is trying to enter your bedroom while you’re alone in there, you will call me right away. I don’t care if you know who it is. I don’t care if you recognize their voice. You will not open the door, do you understand?” “That’s crazy. What if it’s one of the guys?” Tatiana raised an eyebrow at him. “Do you mean one of the men whose voices have been recorded and broadcast worldwide for any person to download and sample at leisure?” “Shit, I’d never thought of that,” he said in alarm, staring at her with wide eyes. “Exactly, and I’m here so that you don’t have to.”

I'm a day one twilight movie fan. Never thought to get into the book. I only saw breaking dawn in theatres I think. I wasn't friends with die hard fans so I didn't have to worry about them spoiling it while I waited for its to go to DVD. Around the same time I got into True Blood on HBO too (I shouldn't have because it was definitely not for tweens but I digress) To answer your question though Bellas mom was never kidnapped. James found a tape from Bellas dance recital. On the tape there was a moment when she was panicking calling Bellas name because she lost her. When Bellas finds the source of the sound you see the tape playing. I feel like it goes by quickly so I'm not surprised you missed it.

There’s a theory that the reason Bella was so drawn to Edward was because she’s a human and he’s a vampire. As Edward puts it himself, everything about him is designed to draw Bella to him; a predator drawing in its pray with its natural beauty and charisma. It doesn’t help that, many times in the books, whenever Bella meets a new vamp; the first things she notices/points out is their supernatural beauty. It also doesn’t help that Bella is Edward’s “Singer”-her blood smells unnaturally good to him, and it’s like her blood ‘sings’ to him. That’s why it was so hard for Edward to safely be around Bella specifically, compared to every other human he’s been around.

I found your videos recently and have been nothing but OBSESSED !! i’m a big fan of twilight since i was like 9 when it came out, and recently in my 20’s i fully had the opportunity to read the books. I’ve also gotten my boyfriend into the movies and books, and we both have a lot of commentary on it. A few things i found interesting about the movie were kristen stewart was NOT wearing a wig for the first 2 movies, but she wore wigs during the last movies since she wanted to change her hair. Jacob’s actor was actually NOT the original actor, it was one of the friends in the first movie !! you can actually see the guy who was supposed to be jacob. the actor who plays embry in the first movie is actually native, and didn’t want to cut his hair for the film since hair is a big part of their culture. so in comes taylor lautner with the busted out wig to swoop in and take the role of Jacob. a lot of the drama in this movie leaves me jaw dropped because…. girl, what. but i’ve learned to appreciate the movie twilight and new moon (the extended edition bc it’s more accurate to the book) since the books truly show what edward, bella, and jacob’s creepy self are truly like, with ya know soul, like edward is funny in the books are really romantic ??? where was that fully in the first movie ?? any ways i thought you would find that interesting, and i also hope you can definitely give the first book a try ! keep up the fantastic work, you literally always have me wheezing in my bed ! 💛

I haven’t watched the movies, I only read the first book (about half a year ago) and let me tell you I was struggling! This book is SO bad bahahahhah. Tbh, the atmosphere that’s created in the book is awesome. The author is actually really good at writing but the storyline is bs. The obvious things that bother me are of course how manipulative Edward is throughout the book and how naïve/delusional Bella is and the way she focuses all her energy on Edward even though everyone including him is telling her to back off. Another thing that bothers me a lot is that every boy is in love with Bella (Edward, Mike, Eric, Tyler and Jacob.. Bruh ) Like literally, Bella looks like every other b*tch in forks and the boys simp over her. It just doesn’t make any sense because they don’t know her at all and it is generally speaking really unrealistic. Considering the fact that Bella is supposed to be an outsider, it’s also just not relatable at all. The thing that bothers me THE MOST though is the whole kidnapping storyline!!!!! These three “wild” vampires are hunting down random people because they see them as their pray, they are basically objects to them and they only care about their blood. It is literally irrelevant who the person is they’re sucking blood from. So even though the vampires smell Bella’s blood and go a little crazy, this James vampire guy still has ZERO motives to go and hunt down Bella. She’s just a random human like everyone else in forks and if James really wanted to suck blood because Bella made him thirsty (um..chile) he would’ve just went to town to suck the blood from a human that might be easier to get (if the author would’ve stayed true to the wild vampire’s character traits ). So up to the part where the kidnapping happens the book is bearable, not good but it is possible to finish it…..but yeah, after the vampire baseball game I literally needed 2 months to finish the book because the kidnapping was so random, sudden and out of pocket that it just seemed really weird, cringey and fake and it became unbearable to read because you couldn’t predict what kind of bs would come next. If I’m being real honest, I originally intended to read the whole saga but I stopped after the first book because it was so bad :/ And everyone that says that “the movie doesn’t do the book justice because it’s so crappy and the book is so good” is in denial that the book is in fact crappy too .

@thecratfywonderworld6910 Жыл бұрын
The kidnapping is really random and cringe, I agree with you, but I remember how back in middle school I moved into a small town and somehow being the new girl did not make me an outsider - instead after a few days I found myself having to convince everyone I knew "no, this guy is not my boyfriend?! What?!no, he lied" because a few people were acting like the guys from Forks in Twilight. That's when I read the book and actually found this relatable. Once everyone got used to me after a couple of months it stopped, but yeah, being new can be accepted in different ways and one of them is that one

I'm sorry, but I was there during the first wave of feminist review. And it quickly got sus. *Oh Edward comes off a bit of a stalker, and that might send a wrong message; okay, well that completely justifies all the terrible bigoted hate mail and death threats that Meyer received every day over a fucking decade!* The hatred was more than I had ever witnessed in my adolescent years and no matter how well intentioned this video might be, I cannot be here for it. My stance, ultimately, is that nomatter what the negative morals you can interpret from this franchise, it is nothing, literally *nothing* compared to the absolute epidemic levels of toxicity that came from those who spoke out against it. The bullying, the sexicism, the harassment, all of it. I know you mean well but I assure you it isn't worth it. Girls liked it and they were hated for liking it, and the actors were hated for being in it and the author was hated for making it. And that hate came from misogynistic assholes and feminists alike. I will never, ever, be apart of that again.

Edward goes too far sometimes, like watching her sleep. But he's faithful and committed. Isn't that a better message than a hook-up culture, where he slept with her, posted her naked pics online and then slept with someone else?!! The hatred it received is like the hatred secretly gay people have towards the openly gay. Really, we want the kind of faithful committed love Edward and Bella have, we don't get it, so we project our wishes onto hating them.
