Steve on a 2500hp pull : "That seems reasonable." Lol. Steve & Crew, you guys and gals inhabit a different hemisphere than most the rest of us when it comes to what is "reasonable" horsepower. Lol. Thanks for taking us along.

I am thinking 3200hp is almost disappointing these days, meanwhile I hope when I move in about a year to build a 350 hp sbc followed by a 600hp one, which is as much as i have ever built, and that was decades ago, lolol

Every time I watch Steve, I'm amazed. Unfortunately, I threw a lot of my life away with drugs, crazy women, and more drugs, but thank God that's over. Steve I watch you process after pulls or either a problem pop up and it's kinda like a super computer going through tons of files to narrow down the source of the issue. Brother, I like the reality and genuineness of it. . Thanks so much for sharing what you love doing.

This blows my mind... To think that our parents managed an "impressive" 155hp from their hot-rodded 350 Chevy back in the 70s... I often wonder what Henry Ford would think if he saw the technical advancements have been made in the Auto industry... Seeing the reaction from my dad about the kind of numbers you're able to accomplish tells me he'd be impressed! lol

It's minblowing how todays 350 makes +400hp (My Nova) and with a little hassle can be stroked to 383 and with 500hp.

Well the 70s were a sad time for any hp numbers. It's even amazing what we have now compared to the 80s and 90s. Heck if you did a 10 sec 1/4 you were doing something really right. Now we have 2500hp coyote 5.2l Go figure I still remember Bernstein breaking 300 mph back in '92. Now we have 6 and 7 sec Mustangs=small tire

Important to point out that the oil is contaminating the hot side of turbos only...you can tell from the plugs, almost no oil is burning in the combustion chamber...the O2 sensors are probably reading falsely lean from the burnt oil leading to rich mix in the combustion chamber...with clean hot side and true O2 readings, I’m betting the cpu will be correcting the fuel map by reducing fuel...

I doubt Sachs car is anywhere near 2600 lbs. Being a drag and drive car I’m guessing it’s probably 3000+. Even if it is close to Mullet weight of ~3500 lbs with driver it should go deep into the 6’s. Garret went 6.40’s in Mullet with the old 540 at about 3000 HP before he hurt it.
