Twin Cries when Brother Goes Down Stairs without Him

These twin brothers look like each other, dress like each other, and do everything together, so when one of the them jumped off the last stair without the other, it incited an instant crying attack. Thankfully, his brother quickly realized why he was crying and went back up the stairs so they could jump off together.

These two remind me of two little boys that I taught at a school-run summer program one year. They were brothers and they were both four years old. Their parents were married, and one was biologically related to the mother and the other was biologically related to the father. They were such sweet boys and they were absolutely inseparable, almost constantly holding hands. However, one of them was extremely quiet and the other was the biggest troublemaker in the class! The quiet little boy would say “where’s Jaiden? Where’s Jaiden?” whenever he couldn’t see his brother for even a second, even if it was because his brother was standing behind him. I remember one time, Jaiden slipped away to play with other kids without Samuel for a second during recess and Samuel was beyond upset when he realized he couldn’t find him. Jaiden looked like he felt bad for a moment, then went back to playing with his friends, like a typical little four year old boy. 😂 For the rest of the recesses at the summer program, Samuel would just stand along the fence and watch his brother play to make sure he didn’t lose him, no matter how much we told him to play with the other kids. They ended up being put in separate Kindergarten classes, and it was really hard on Samuel at first, but I heard from a teacher who worked the program with me that Samuel is much more outgoing now, and he and Jaiden have stayed close. Sorry for the long story. 😂 They were just such sweet boys, and this video reminded me so much of them.

I loved the little pause the boy who was crying did when the mom said "you hurt his feelings" and then after a second started crying again😂. Lmao kids really do be learning from the adults. Like if the parent had said "its fine its okay even if your brother didnt come with you" the kid would have actually listened to that. If a kid gets hurt and we get all worried and stressed the kid is gonna get worried too. But if we tell them its okay let me fix it the kid is gonna understand that he didnt really hurt himself that bad. They reflect the parents feelings

@@HeyitsBri_ you actually can. The first child has a higher level of independency as compared to the second that why he didn't want to hold his brother's hand nor did he fear the distance from the step to the ground. The second child who cried its rather obvious that he already exudes signs of codependency and may have fear of heights. The worst part of the situation the mother is a enabler to the second child and may have maternal affection disorder. And yes I got all of that from a 1min clip remember reading is fundamental.

@@raumyurena5693 She’s really not... Although the other twin was exercising his independence, he lashed out at his twin. It was HOW he reacted when he became impatient & snatched his hand a way that trigger the other twin, so letting him know what he did was hurtful is OK, especially since HE was concerned & wanted to know why his brother was upset. The other twins feelings was hurt because he just wanted to hold his hand, & jump off together (almost like a tradition of theirs). He’s not wrong for wanting to share a moment with his brother. More importantly, they’re like 5 or 6, so the interaction is normal. Plus, this is ONE video, so saying she’s enabling his behavior is a stretch & uncalled for since you don’t know what she teaches them because there’s not enough evidence in the video to support your opinion.

Having a twin sister or brother can be actually pretty helpful learning important moral stuff. You learn to share and think about others feeling better. also there is no excuses from the parents like: "your bro can't do that cause he's younger" etc. you just learn how to live with other people and you learn that you are not always the centre of the world.

a Bear I can't imagine how amazing that must be. I have two younger sisters who are 1 1/2 years apart from each other, but I'm 5 and 7 years older respectively. My parents can constantly throw around the "they're younger" or "you're older"; I've never really been able to connect with them... meanwhile, they're extremely close. It can be incredibly depressing sometimes.

Aceris I feel you but kind of vice versa. My brother and I have always been super close. We're only 3 years apart (him being 18 and me being 15). But our sister is only 7 so we don't really connect as much with her, while my brother and I are each other's best friend. And she's always crying because my brothers moving out soon (cri) and I'm moving out as soon as I turn 18 so she'll be an "only child" for 8 years.

@@yuppy178 BLM the movement is nice.. the people in control of the slogan and what they do with it- not so nice. I suppoort lgbtq like no tomorrow..but not when people are trying to eliminate the straight african male... look on their page. How /some/ african lives matter but not all? In a sense they’re doing what society has always done but I don’t like when either party manipulates the other. They’re ruining the weight behind such strong words with their hidden agenda...

As an independent identical twin this made me angry. One should not be pressured to accommodate the other simply bc it’ll hurt his feelings. This seems small, but it progresses with everything in life. He shouldn’t have had to go back and get him or hold his hand unless he wanted to. The lesson should’ve been that in life you have to do things alone.

Except that he needed help going down the stairs in the first place from his clearly more dominant and independent twin, they had a disagreement about how they wanted to jump together (one wanted to hold hands the other wanted to have their arms on each others shoulder) and then the other rudely jumped down without his brother. Whatever your issues are in your family, don't project them on to this family. These children are literal toddlers who got into a squabble and resolved it with a hug. It's not about you or how much you hate your brother. The other brother went to ask his brother was was wrong on his own, he wasn't forced to.
