Seeing her perform in the new season was heartbreaking.

Agreed. It was incredible though that she was still able to perform so close to her death.

It was bittersweet to see In Memoriums for the actress and the character both in the Return

Boom, but she did it. That scene with the Indian was the same as my father. I knew I would never talk with him again - and was stoic about it. He told me he loved me and I hung up. First and last time he said it, as he was murdered a week or two later. Actually we will never know - but before he died - his left arm became completely numb. I thought to myself - blue rose

I've always had this theory that the log contained the spirit of her dead husband, similar to how Josie's spirit went into the wood of the Great Northern.

I still want the drawer pull that she is locked inside of. A drawer pull, in a nightstand, in the room of a hotel.....

I like to grow shiitake mushrooms as a hobby. They live in decaying logs, if you didn't know. A few neighborhood kids think it's interesting, so they come over sometimes to see how my 'shrooms are doing, and to get a few freebies. They call me the log lady. I take so much stupid pleasure in that. And yes, I do speak to my mushrooms. Haven't had them talk back yet, but maybe someday. The most they do is occasionally squeak and crackle, when they're really excited about growing.

@michaelsnow1 id almost forgotten. The Kabbalah of it is enlightening. I keep thinking about how Jack Nance died. He got beat up and went to bed. It's "real" dark.

These character breakdowns are so good. Your analysis is always on point and triggers lots of new thoughts and insights that I hadn't considered before. Thanks for putting so much time into this.

Someone once said she "is the sanest human being I've ever met." I agree. Edit: I just received my "Our Lady of the Log" shirt from tee-spring and I almost cried. It's beautiful. 😢

When Lynch originally met her, she was one of the secretaries for the production Of his "Love story With A Happy Ending(That is what he called it.) Eraser Head. He glanced at her and said: "I see you carrying a log". To top that, on the very first day of filming he spotted a guy who was sweeping up the set. He walked up to him and said. "Hello. Your name is Killer Bob" Mr. Lynch, I want your planet of origin and I want it now!

I have little wooden figures of her and her log, and the coffee cup with that saying on it. Also, the gum we like, it's back in style.

Thanks for the videos you have made. Please allow us to hear the clips you are describing, as in your present productions I can't hear any, just your voice.

I'm sorry if you can't hear the clips. I can usually hear the clips myself even though they are a bit lower volume so I don't personally notice it as much.
