Twin Turbo C8 Episode 2 - WE FIRE UP THE NEW TURBOCHARGED ENGINE!

Florida High Performance is back with the second installment of the Twin Turbo C8 series, where we've finished mocking up the turbo kit from Pietz Performance and are ready to set up the Delta Control Module. This will allow us to fire the car up, and begin the break-in process.
This will transform your Chevrolet Corvette C8 into a powerhouse with the C8 Tuner Suite from Peitz Performance Tunes. We'll be able to maximize horsepower, torque, and fuel efficiency, while also customizing various settings to suit your preferences.

This is a solid build and very nice install! It was awesome seeing the whole process. This C8 is gonna be a beast. That AMP module is pretty legit being able to access everything through BT. Need to see more of this car!!!

Just asking because I'm not sure! But now that the base C8 is tunable? Do you really need to use any of that product?

Great question. We will elaborate more on that subject in episode 3- as the E99 unlock became accessible in the middle of the build. While having complete access over the E99 certainly opens the doors wide open, the DCM featured on this kit does so much more than just provide idle and fueling adjustments. It controls everything else in the kit- including meth, scavenge pumps, IC pumps, etc. so, yea we will still fully utilize the DCM on any future kits.

C8s already have lower oil pressure than most are accustomed to seeing. Are you also seeing low oil pressure numbers with your kit?

Yeah I noticed that too…. Idle hot, 30’s Cold start, 60’s

If your hot pressure is still in the 30s, your kit has better pressure than others I have seen! Some have reported pressure in the low 20s.

@@rlhay2 are you referring to the pressure drop due to turbo oil feed? The turbos have flow restrictors built into them which helps keep oil flow under control. That and the custom engine is built with tighter motor precise clearances which is always a help.
