Quick Off Road Trip in the Toyota Tundra | 20,000 Mile Review

This is my 18 month, 20,000 mile review of my 2023 Toyota Tundra. It is the limited trim, crew cab, and short box. I have the basic 4wd package and the rear air suspension. No TRD Off Road or TRD Pro Package here. I also don't have a single skid plate! Quite a difference from my old 4Runner where I learned how to off road (and how not to lol). I absolutely love this 1/2 truck and use it to haul around my KTM 300 to hare scramble races around Virginia, haul my Yamaha Grizzly 700 to the trails, and tow around a 2023 Forest River Ibex 19QTH toy hauler. I was nervous buying this truck because they are so expensive, but I've been thrilled with my experience so far. Thanks for watching.

Solid review man. I got rid of mine for a couple of reasons but everything you said was valid. They do tow amazing and the power is incredible.

What type of octance gas do you put? 87 or 91?

I love the look of the Tundra but I’d be worried about the reliability and inevitable cost of repairs. Not to mention all the engine problems Toyota is having.

Yeah I sure hope they get it sorted. This platform has a lot of potential.
