@Twin Cherry Studio I ordered the SanDisk 2TB Extreme Portable SSD - Up to 1050MB/s - USB-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2. Amazon had a good deal for black Friday. I also bought a USB hub since I currently have a 1 TB USB SSD connected to my Xbox series X. Hopefully I can have both connected via the hub at the same time.

I don't do the the FTP thing either. That's why I'm staying away from retroarch. The USB is broken.

It's possible to get dev mode brick in retail. Months ago I changed mine craft textures using file browser apps in the store. I'm assuming whatever I done to make it work led to me not having anything in the local folder. Just purched a dev mode thinking it would fix the retail way of ftping

yes it is possible. After 6 months of not having the brick. My console literally did it over Christmas. I'm trying to unbrick it now. By trying a few theories I have. But nothing has worked so far.

@@TwinCherryStudio just backed up my games and done a full reset and wiped everything. With no luck. Is there other things I could try? I ended up just transferring files within the xbox device portal

@@leviclark312 that's my only suggestion so far. I've tried all sorts of theories. The files are there but not showing on Durango. The device portal isn't very good for transferring games. I think it's a bug in Durango. Because mine was working completely fine until a few weeks ago. And now I can't fix it. The last time it took me 3 factory resets. I'm not prepared to do that again this time. So I'm going to just use the device portal. I'm looking into using a file transfer program to do it from a USB. But I've been busy making videos on iPad emulation this month.

I’ve heard rumors both have ceased development. After using both I have strong suspicions they’re the same program with different skins. They both play games similar. Both haven’t been updated since October. The only advantages Aether has is retro achievements. I’m waiting to see if XBSX2 updates before making a decision.

There is xenia but it's still to early in update for ps3 and ps4 no we hoped there will be uwp for rpcs3 but its only support vulkan API

Do not play PS3 games on any other hardware that the PS3 itself. It's impossible to emulate then properly, really. The way that IBM's Cell processor works is just too CUSTOM from any other CPU. In fact the Cell's single thread computing power is still a bit higher than single thread computing power on a PS5, or an Xbox Series X, and considering how old it is, that is absolutely mind boggling.

You must be joking me. Dude, for that, you buy a Wii U! Period! Soft mod it in 5 minutes, literally. How can you even discuss Dolphin on any other hardware in 2024? The Wii U has the Cube hardware inside, and also Wii hardware inside, making it run Cube games and Wii natively. It's like the Katiushka dolls of consoles. Literally 3 different hardware in1! But then must immigrant thing is it's not by emulation. It's native voice running on native hardware, only with HDMI output, unlike the Cube itself.

Where do you put the games on internal ssd so XBSX could see it? I've checked all the drives (including Q:) and there's no localstate there. From Xbox Portal I created the Games folder in xbsx localstate just like you did but I can't find and select it in the XBSX itself

You have to use Dev mode. There is a retail mode version. gamr.13 runs it but I prefer the dev mode install. Also I heard the XBSX2 dev doesn't update the retail mode version. I'm not sure how true it is. The PS2 arm emulators are in a bit of flux at the minute because the main guy quit

I can’t for the life of me get any game to work. They’ll try and launch and then go back to the apps main screen. I’m guessing it has something to do with bios but I can’t figure out what is happening. I believe I have a correct bios file and have the directory for bios correctly chosen. Any help?

Yes, You have to join a discord and pay a patron a dollar a month. Or hope that you're on discord for the small amount of time the apps are available on retail mode. Not to mention Xbox takes them down all the time. It's worth the $20 just to install it yourself.

Yes I mention this in the video. It's called a local brick. It's a bug in Dev Mode. It happened to me recently. Go to the part where I talk about it and I show you a directories menu. Here is where you change all of those to USB by clicking on it and setting the new directory
