there's so many layers to this. the effort of making this in survival mode. the advanced mathematics. the island of fenced sheep in the middle of the lake. the genuine strategy and artistic process. the camerawork. the intermittent history lesson on 20th-century american architecture. "i don't learn from my mistakes." the tamed cats. the miniature revenge quest against one single drowned. the earnest 7/10 review. i'm obsessed with this. currently texting my family requesting a picture of my childhood home's blueprints "for reasons"

I could be wrong but I think "sleeping porches" are things they had in warm places before air conditioning was a thing. So if it was summer time in one of the sweaty southern states like Georgia or something, you could sleep in an enclosed breezy place lol I think it would look a bit like a sunroom, except with screens so that the cool air could come in and the bugs stay out.
