Also thank you for doing this video - it helped me to quickly understand how Twinmotion works and where is what - being now able to apply know knowledge from VRay Cycles eeVee to Twinmotion. My students will love this!

Why did u use multiple area light on the large window instead of one? Is there any particular reason? Anyway nice work, i love the atmosphere you put into the scene.

Pathtracer is good, but I wish they'd add DLSS like Enscape so we can have live ratracing - for VR and sharing with Clients on the Viewer.

so have you compared it ? What do you think about the result of twinmotion compare to others?
@cekuhnen2 жыл бұрын
@@Claw94 interesting - I feel they have a good system. One advantage is that it is free for Mac and pc but Mac does not have a pathtracer which makes it less useful. The build in vegetation and env design make it very useful. The interface is somewhat chaotic if I am honest and the lack of live linking is missing. The visual quality is good maybe not VRay yet but very good and easy to achieve for interior design students. in general it think they are on a great path I tried luminon a few times and just hate the chaotic convoluted approach

this scene is need 3070 8gb or 3060 12gb? ram matters?
Is there 'global illumination' in TM? I'm new(er) to all this stuff and only used TM early on. It looks like 1000 times better now. Nice video!

What gpu do you use??
@craigstephens933 жыл бұрын
@ He uses a 2070 (8GB?). If you can get your hands on an RTX 3060 12GB or an RX6700 XT 12GB I recon you should be good. I only have 8GB in my 3070ti, and it's barely enough for professional 3d modelling or even 4K gaming - It's a super fast GPU though, and using TM with path tracer off is so smooth. Make sure you have enough system memory too - TM will eat that up. TM is notoriously bad for resource consumption, so make sure your cooling and power supply are good.

too much time in light settings, absolutely useless because when you show the image to the client, it only tells you that because you left the magazine on the floor.... this does not make sense, customers are not interested in this type of wear and tear in the control of the light, when seeing the image the client tells you, because you do not show me what the salon looks like at night and you lost all your time.
