you're welcome! sky dome is a 360° infinite image that surround the entire scene, backdrop is still a 360° image but projected on a finite dome. the main difference is also that you can manage the last one with dimension values. both, once activated, will illuminate the scene instead of the sun

@@inphinitydesign there isn't a real answer for this, i normally use dome for simile skyes, backdrop when i need to modify the position of the image projected as sky!
