I love their excitement, at the beginning anyway lol. The water is soooo tempting to touch. I’m so glad, Walt and Alicia, that you talk to the girls normally and not baby talk. And how you work them through their melt downs. There’s many parenting techniques out there but I love how you are so kind and caring towards the girls and give understanding. There’s not enough of that in the world and I wish there were more parents like you ❤❤❤❤ Edit: Thank you for the sea monkey update 🥰

I made a comment that not many people liked. I apologize if I offended anyone. I just want to add that Guinevere and Anastasia‘s parents are great parents that handle all the up and down emotions of toddlers with grace and ease. It is good to see that they do not scream at their kids for doing some thing wrong. They simply teach what’s right and wrong calmly. God bless them.

Well, it happens. As a family you run out of things. Kids need to learn that, too. When it's gone, it's Gone. I couldn't imagine running out to the store bc my child cried for more. That's just a fact of life we all learn.
@elaineholtkamp17752 ай бұрын
I agree. And while Gwen had her meltdown, both mom ans dad try over and over to appease her "do you want this? Do you want this?" One day, they will go to school and the teacher will not do this. It's best to learn now everything we want does not go our way.
@user-lq5pk6ke3e2 ай бұрын

Yes, I too agree. Don't think I heard dad repeat strongly emough that everything was put into the tanks and there wasn't any more left. He did try to comfort Guin when she cried and hid herself from view, but think she needed to hear again that there was nothing left. Kids do have to learn that there are disappointments, which as they mature will learn to handle. Very patient parents!!

Such a wonderful science project for the entire family, and I loved how engaged and enthusiastic the girls were in growing and feeding their sea monkeys and Sally shrimp! The plonking sound as the tiny pebbles hit the water sounded so sweet, and it was funny to see how the girls couldn't resist touching the water even as Mom and Dad kept warning them to stop. Guinevere gets easily impatient and frustrated, but I love how her mood can change so quickly on a dime when her outbursts are ignored and soon all is well - great parenting! Anastasia always just seems to go with the flow - LOL! I look forward to seeing the sea monkeys and Sally shrimp grow and thrive. See you all tomorrow row row row for the promise a new day brings in the adventures in the lives of the Barton twins! 🥰💜💖😘👍👍

For those who asking…per google…Sea-Monkeys is a marketing term for brine shrimp sold as novelty aquarium pets. Developed in the United States in 1957 by Harold von Braunhut, they are sold as eggs intended to be added to water, and most often come bundled in a kit of three pouches and instructions. Wikipedia
