They'll know how lucky they were/are as they grow older & experience friends who live in single-parent homes working at least one job, etc. There are 23M American kids in single-parent homes. Fams with 2 parents who both work is 71%. (2023 stats.) It's fair to say It's a luxury to have one parent who's able to be home.

I was a latch key child because my Mom always worked in an office. It's called having food on the table and paying the mortgage. She graduated from college in business. My Dad also worked for a major newspaper. We were Middle Class. I graduated with college honors, so I'm well adjusted. Back then Moms could not make a large salary from their children being on you tube channels, so they went out in the world and got a job.

I've never seen a child that excited about broccoli or any other vegetable. They are beautiful children inside and out. Alicia and Walt you are doing a superb job raising your girls. I just love their conversations. Alicia, you answer every question while making sure they are your first priority. They listen to everything you say and respond in an adult like way. I love calamari. Growing up in NY, my dad's cousin owned an Italian restaurant, and his chef would make fried calamari and also calamari in brown wine sauce and when he knew I was coming, he would make me a plate of both of them. Yum! That is so wonderful how they are getting a wide variety of different foods. And, of course, they are adorable as always.

I missed three days and so much changed ... they got bigger, their hair got longer and they look a little bit older, too!! But ... what didn't change is how absolutely precious these little girls are! Oh my heart ...❤! Best video yet, because it has a little bit of everything: singing manners, compassion, laughter, trying new foods, conflict, conflict resolution, the confident sharing of their own opinions, ["It's taste ... not tasty!"] but ... most of all LOVE! So much love straight from, and to, the heart! Wow this time they were talking with each other like adult in fact they solved one argument in seconds if you ask me they are learning this patience from you since you as parents never argued much settle all issues in few minutes so they began to solve their issues in seconds. Kids learn from parents & they learn from you that little things are not important most important thing is to nice & love each other in family. Great parenting.

Most parents don’t even try to introduce this to children , it takes me back to my Italian nana that would make a red sauce and put calamari in it and I was the only one that would eat it !
