Loved Gwin's sensitivity in perceiving the water all around her. I think she has a great future in the arts. Sensory experiences almost overwhelm her. This is typical of highly imaginative and creative people. My husband was an amazingly gifted classically trained painter and graphic pencil artist. It was his profession. When he worked, he was totally absorbed and oblivious to what was going on around him. I'm a writer and get totally lost in the worlds I create. To me, they are as real or even more real than my surroundings at that moment. It's like my surroundings fade and go slightly out of focus, and Im enchanted and love being with my characters. I sense when Gwin is playing with her dinosaur or her fingers that she, too, is in another world that would be pretty fantastic if she could talk about it, and perhaps someday she will write about it. I am fascinated by these children. They are amazing and so advanced in their minds, thanks to two amazing parents. 🙂❤

Loved Guinevere's 'I want to touch him again!' when she was petting the stringray. She really enjoyed putting her hands in the water and trying again with her sweet PopPop's help. Loved how Ana was completely horizontal when dad was holding her while they were looking up at the fish overhead. Perfect form to practice 'floating' for her swim lessons. She seemed to be in her element at the aquarium, especially when we heard her enthusiastic 'woo-hoo!' seal of approval.

Thank you for letting the girls touch every thing and not freaking about germs is what makes their curiosity so wonderful. You might have to buy a lot more fish for your ne tank at home

@ruthpeck2023 - Great comment, Ruth. When I grew up in the 50's & 60's people weren't consumed with worry about every little germ, unless their child was vulnerable due to a disease or illness. Alicia likely had hand sanitizer in their backpack, and probably washed the girls hands with soap & water later, too. The last time they were somewhere watching the fish, Alicia did draw the line at them licking the aquarium glass, even though I believe it was Ana who tried!😂😂😂💜🩷

What a fun time at the aquarium! The girls look so cute in their adorable dresses.Nice drumming by Ana and singing and clapping by Dad! Ana made me chuckle when she said, "Get up little dude!" to the hippos. What a wonderful family day with Mom, Dad and the grandparents! These two little ones are so blessed.

I visited Adventure Aquarium many years ago, but I think I enjoyed it even more the second time around experiencing it through the twins' eyes. I loved watching their awe and wonder as Guinevere and Anastasia checked out all the fish, penguins, turtles, and even getting a chance to pet the stingrays. I particularly loved that optical illusion as it looked like the girls were walking under the sea. The jam session with Dad was adorable, and it looked like the girls were having the time of their lives - very cute! Thanks for taking us along, Alicia! 🥰💜💖🤟👍🤟👍🐟🐠🦈🐟🐠🦈

That is so cool that they got to go. Several years ago, my mom's hospice nurse took her and me to the Atlanta aquarium. It was so beautiful. Unfortunately it didn't have one of those little bubbles that your girls got into to see better.
