Gimenez is the best fielding 2B since Roberto Alomar. He makes all of the routine plays and he frequently makes the the difficult plays look routine. He probably saved two runs with his glove tonight.

Platinum Glove winner as THE best defensive player in the AL in 2023, and I don't think anything has changed.

@@mericanignoranc3551if you put Hemi next to Omar, he could be just as good if not better than Alomar. Omar and Robbi complemented each other. We don’t have an Omar at short. 😂

This is the win they needed before the playoffs. Tight game to rally in extra innings at home. This gives you confidence even when in the face of a dominant pitcher. Never give up! Great win, Tribe!

I think Josh has been pressing being stuck on 29. Him FINALLY getting to 30. And even 31. Is like an elephant of if his shoulders. He’s ready for October! By the way Jose and Josh combined 66 Homeruns and 215 RBI. That’s one of the top 3 duos in all of MLB. We haven’t had 2 sluggers like this anchoring the lineup in almost a decade. If Kwan can get back to being right. They can undoubtedly win the World Series.

Other than Noel. When Naylor hits a homer u can take it to the bank it’s 400 plus feet. I’ll bet if u look it up his average home runs is one of the best in MLB.

Consider losing the Guardos nickname, Stick with "The Guards" anit no "O" in Guardians... Don't do "The Land" either... We are CLEVELAND and use one syllable nicknames like the tribe, The Browns, The Cavs... Guardos sounds like an odor in a hockey Lockeroom

An unbelievable win! The thing about this team I love the most is the Element of Surprise! This team can look flat out dull for most the game and suddenly explode just when u fall asleep! It's their knack for winning that makes em very tough! This is the type of team u want going for the Title, because they are battle tested and they thrive off battle tested wins. They find a way; rather it's pitching, hitting, defense, base running, it's always a step it up guy or multiple guys that comes through in the clutch! Let's keep ballin out men...Go Guardians... O-H!!!

The first one was a fastball. The second was a changup. He threw 5 changeups in a row to Josh. Josh went down and hit up on one.

Guardians media team: gotta work on the audio transitions from TV audio to Hammy/radio audio. It's so noticeable after the ball is hit it changes, it sounds like all crowd noise gets sucked out of the stadium as it switches over. The crowd roar right after the ball is hit is such a key thing.... I hate that getting taken out due to these choppy edits.

Dang, not a good way to start the game for the Guards SP Bibee and the defense. Sigh. Yeah......sign Cleveland 1B/DH Josh Naylor to an extension!!!! WOW!!!!!! WOW!!!!! I am glad.......after a less than perfect pitching from SP Bibee and RP Gaddis, gave up the go ahead runs, The Guards were still able to come away with a nail biter of a VICTORY!!!! Way to Go, Cleveland!!!!!! 🥰⚾⚾⚾💥

Not sure what his bullpen situation is, and how much they’ve been used. He probably had his best guys in the 8/9th, just like the Guards, but he just doesn’t have 4 lockdown guys like the Guards do.

No Paddack, no funderburk, no brock stewart, no duarte, no desclafani, no Joe ryan. But yeah... why not play duran in the 10th he only had 11 pitches
