Almost dropped lopez for a bag of golf balls a few weeks ago. I like how he handled early pressure / setback and rose to an ace in the second half of the game.

His FIP was under 4 for most of the season. I think he was due for a turnaround, but man what a turnaround it's been the past two games

Yeah, that game with the rain delay. Twins tied it up at 5 runs before the rain. Thereafter Lopez gave up a homer to the first batter. He still received a no decision. He's been better lately.

This offense is so bad😂. Mariners superstar hitting .248 with only 7 homeruns. Not one single mariner is hitting above .260 . I swear ever since 2019 the mariners offense has hit a wall

@@sonny.9998 for now. They had a 9 game lead in the AL West. Now it shrunk down to 3.5 to the Astros. That’s true but they got to make it to the post season first. They got swept in 2022 and haven’t improved since. They’re wasting the window of this dominant pitching staff by cheaping out and relying on the farm system which by previous experience hasn’t fared well for the mariners .

Scott Servais absolutely has to go. It does not matter who the Mariners sign, the approach to hitting is the problem with this team. They have fired how many bench coaches now? But the problem still persists? Why? It’s Scott Servais, plain and simple!

I love the Mariners but this years version plays the most boring baseball of any previous Mariner team. They have good pitching but the hitters can’t give them any runs. This puts pressure on the pitchers day in and day out and they will eventually lose hope and then ability

The fact that the M's are trotting out 7 starters who are all hitting below .250, 6 of whom have OBP's below .300, this late in the season, at home & against a potential playoff opponent, is ridiculous. Another 15 K's to add to their MLB leading total. They have the worst team batting avg. in MLB. They have the 5th worst OBP in the majors. The second worst run differential of any team in MLB with a winning record. They aren't even a good AAA team. Unbelievable. But I'm a glutton for punishment...go M's!

@@hitmanl520 This isn't April - show me another division leader consistently trotting out the same level of hitting ineptitude at this stage of the season. They are the worst division leader in MLB thanks in no small part to playing in the worst division in MLB. If it weren't for the pitching they would be hanging out with the Angels and the A's. They may have been a second half team the last 3 years, but they missed the playoffs twice in that span & they have given up half the lead they had on the Astros in the last week. Barring a significant trade, I'm not confident in the M's ability to hold the lead the rest of the way with these hitters.

I'm sure us Mariners fans have our own thoughts and ideas on what to do about the offense. I think the most important thing is that our core players have to be much better. Until that happens, nothing is going to change about the offense.
