"We'll retire to some far-off place/Share an itty bitty living space/A humble yet cozy abode" Foreshadowing is a dramatic device in which an important plot point is mentioned earlier in the story to return later in a significant way.

it's amazing how in Twisted, Starships, and Little White Lie, Meredith plays both funny, beautiful, and well written characters. But in Holy Musical B@man, she plays a few different annoying and over-acting roles that are just there to explain ridiculous things to the audience.

The comedic timing and facial expressions throughout that entire beginning bit are great, but especially at the end. You can see the cogs turning in Ja'far's head as he looks aghast, but then gradually relieved. And the grim, incredulous look on Gazeem's face as he slowly turns around to look at Ja'far makes you slowly realize what's coming, and it all comes to a head when he holds up the bag and says, "What the fuck are you laughing at?", and since the audience already knows what the punchline is, you have to make it continue being funny, and it is, because of Dylan's hilarious scream and horrified look. The entire sequence is so underrated.
