I'm glad to see a build video on this plane. I found it tedious to build, but your videos make it look pretty easy. The more you build the easier it is. As always, thanks for taking the time. One more thing, I'm amazed at how still your plane is while building. Even watching on fast speed the plane moves very little during the build. You're quite a good builder.

Jim's awesome! We agree, a build can becomes to look basic or easy even once you've built similarly. These Super lite model really are in a class of their own, they are worth the time building for sure! Enjoy!

Thanks Wayne! I try very hard to make these videos as high of quality as possible. Things that seem simple to do become much harder when you have to keep it all in frame and work at arms length instead of close in. Not to mention running two cameras and keeping the workspace as clear as possible. I'm so glad you find these build videos helpful!

I see you’re running the 2305 1500KV motor on this plane and hear you’re running a 2S 500mAh battery, what prop size are you using on your demo flight?? Thanks in advance!
@TwistedHobbysIncChannel8 ай бұрын
Correct, you can use 2305 1500kv with 2s on 9" prop setup for more prop wash, also 1800kv on 2s with 8" prop is fine as well.

Great video very helpful! Did you set any limits on your throws or just leave them at max? Didn’t see any recommendations in the manual

For all my planes in the I extend the travel to the extreme max/min travel on the surface (and then in one click, usually in the neighborhood of 112-125%) I go with high Expo (60-70%) and don't use any low/high rates. Everyone does it a little differently, but I like the simplicity of flying without using switches mid-flight.

Very good video. Problem : Foam Tac glue is perfect but very difficult to find in Europe.
@TwistedHobbysIncChannel8 ай бұрын
Understood, usually any good adhesive glue works great. Believe UHU Por adhesive is available in your location. Also good CA glues can be used. We like Beacon or other similar adhesive since it drys flexible versus CA glues dry hard.

Ok, you stated, "you can use 2305 1500kv with 2s on 9" prop setup for more prop wash." Which 9" prop are you using exactly? I looked at the 9" TH sells and see 3 or 4 different pitches......

Correct any of them, you can fine tune to your likely. Personally I like 9x4.7

Ok, so I just ordered my Laser 200 and a couple of the 9x4.7 props! Just a couple of more questions: (1) what is the name brand of your 2S 500mAh flight battery?, & (2) what kind of flight times are you getting with "that" battery? & (3) what is the "C" rating on your battery?

You can use most all brands for our models. 2s 500mah should yield you 3-5 mins depending on how hard you are on the throttle etc..
@captnjim.8 ай бұрын
I am using a few different brands, but my favorite is currently CODDAR 500mAh 2S 100c. My timer is set for 5 mins and that brings me to 3.7-3.8v depending on how much I'm giving it the beans! I do swap over to XT-30 connectors on my ESC, so that takes a little bit of soldering.

Just finished mine and love it however I broke one of the pieces of carbon fiber on the wingtip off and can’t find it. I would like to buy a new piece but all I see on the website is pushrods am I missing something?
