You had to soder an extension wire. Wow, I think this is not as simple as you make it look!

To be fair, I usually solder on every model I build to swap over from JST to an XT-30 connector. You could easily just use an extension instead of soldering, but I didn't want the possibility of it coming unplugged internally.
