So basically, this mode could have been like a hack and slash segment where you just starts running around and killing people. That would have been amazing something completely different in a Twisted Metal game. It's a real bloody shame it was cancelled.

Hanzo Hasashi Well, when looking at screenshots and concept art, these on foot segments would have been more about using guns. If you look up Twisted Metal Black 2: Harbor City at Unseen 64, you should see images of Sweet Tooth holding a rifle. I think there would have been objectives and potentially puzzles, according to the developer factoids and setup of the environments when playing this. But yeah. I wish they’d revive this idea. It would have been so cool!

Since they said this was to be an open-word seamless area with GTA style missions, imagine this level as the very last mission where you play as Needles Kane and he escapes the asylum and the guards and other inmates try to kill you for your crimes over at previous TM tournaments and etc. This music is a way of saying Needles is escaping and he is the most ruthless person who is too dangerous to be left alive.

We should start a petition for Sony to make a Twisted Metal game with a mix of everything like the characters from all the Twisted Metals and for the characters that are in more than one game or have more than one car give us the option to chose from each variation of their cars like how Sweet has I think 3 variations of his truck. Also some on foot sections plus the open world idea from Twisted Metal Harbor City and if a car has more than one driver like Shadow you could choose between i.e Mortimer or the girl from Twisted Metal Black I forgot her name lol and the last thing it would need is an ending for each character and the story telling like they did in Twisted Metal Black that’s my idea of the perfect Twisted Metal game ever made 😁

Don't get me wrong, I love every single entry, but Twisted Metal could've been a lot cooler if it had vehicular and on foot combat. Unfortunately, the biggest stretch the franchise ever made was a handle-held version and a more kid friendly edition. It's always been a pretty unique concept, but I don't remember the series ever being groundbreaking within itself. They just kept up with the generations until the 8th.

Twisted Metal harbor city was gonna be like Roadkill but with on-foot guns. Roadkill doesn't feature on-foot guns and it was a mix of GTA and Twisted metal combined.
