I was stationed in West Germany back in the early 80s,and one of my friends, from Newark NJ,came into my room one night,all excited.Talking about this band that he used to see a lot around the NYC area was coming to Frankfurt, said we gotta go... We were SMF!

I saw them in Philadelphia, PA., my first concert. I was 12 years old, my brother Mac took me to see Iron Maiden. Opening band was a jaw dropping mind blowing '!!! THIS IS REALLY FUCKING HAPPENING NOW TO ME!!!!--YES IT FUCKING IS!!!! TWISTED SISTER!!!!"---moment I have and I have that memory alive and well stored in my heart and mind FOREVER TO RELIVE ANYTIME I WANT!!! MY DREAM THOUGH IS TO MEET DEE SNYDER AND TWISTED SISTER I want to tell them what they did for my life!!! Back to 12 yrs old ...look at these MF-ers! The entire arena nailed so HARD BY THIS BAND YOU COULD SEE THE MUSIC YOU COULD TASTE THE AWESOME NESS OF HEAVY METAL MUSIC IN THE AIR!!! THE EXPERIENCE WAS THAT OF THE FIRST CLOUD BURST AND LIGHTENING OF ONE SERIOUSLY HEAVY STORM , MAKING HISTORY NOW !! BUT WONT JUST BE GONE TOMORROW. 50 YEARS OLD NOW AND CANT WAIT TO SEE THEM AGAIN. Seriously? I can't wrap my head around anyone thinking they were good. Maybe being 12 years old explains it? I saw them at The Trade Winds, Sea Bright NJ, and they were f*cking horrible! Guess dressing up like transvestites was enough to get em a following? But seriously their music sucked, they were sub par musicians (hence the dressing up and makeup gimmick), and Dee Snyder was a complete a-hole. He thought he was some kind of comedian screwing with everyone in the audience, until some guy whipped a beer bottle at his head 👍🏻. They got booed off the f*cling stage, in a bar lol. Worst band I've ever seen in my life!!! I can appreciate the 12 years old 1st concert though, same here. Mine was Black Oak Arkansas and Black Sabbath!!!🤘

Но до этого я так же активно слушала Set it off.. И это была единственная знакомая мне группа.. Затем, от Twisted Sister я стала знакомиться с Manowar, Kiss, Nitro, и множество других групп..
