Twisted Wonderland Theory, Ortho and Grim

Honestly Grim being twisted from Dinah, Alice's cat, is an excellent way to tie my boi Ace, theorized as twisted Alice, to chapter 8, where can fianlly earn his UM. 👀 (Tho in another heacannon Grim is either considered to be based on Pflanze the feline minion of the Odd sisters. )

OK WAIT THIS MAKES SO MUCH SENSE because Grim is always eating those blot stones right??? What if it's helping him return to his carnal phantom nature (as seen in Book 5 and in the thumbnail of this video??) WHAT IF THE CURSE/BLESSING IS BEING LIFTED??? This certainly adds a lot of substance to the plot! I always thought that it was weird that Grim's origins are so unknown, and Idia practically confirmed my theory in book 6 that this was going to be an important plot point soon! Idia did confirm Grim has some kind of curse. And Ortho suggested the curse's origin my be similar to the Shroud family's curse, due to the similar blue flames! If the Shroud family curse was brought on because their ancestor (Hades) tried to kill his family's head/heir ( either Zeus or Hercules), why would Grim be cursed?

He's either curse to destroy everything in Twisted Wonderland including Night Raven College or a blessed to protect the main protagonist throughout their travels. That is just my theory anyway.

I think Grim might have been a legit cat originally but then a blot monster came to him and fused or something. Similar to how human ortho kept his sense enough to speak and remember Idia and tech pass codes, I think Grim might have keep his mind(-ish) and his cat behaviors, but because he wasn’t originally human, and it possibly being a lessor blot monster, Grim was affected differently. I don’t think it’s same monster that got to human ortho (I think that is what human ortho got absorbed into), and possibly not even caught by Styx, but hiding from them so went to attach to grim. (I also don’t want it to be too connected with Styx cause I feel that would give Idia, ortho, and ignihyde too much narrative spotlight as only secondary main characters) I might just be totally misremembering that ortho gets “absorbed”, but it’s fun to think about at least
