As for the leaning thing, I think you need to look at it from a “performance” perspective. When they were on stage, they didn’t just “sing”, they also did some “dancing” and “acting” for the audience to experience the emotions. These guys spent years perfecting their singing techniques but sometimes they just went out of the box and above and beyond what was taught in the singing lessons.

I think the leaning it’s more of a performance thing, it seams more passionate and dynamic, specially when they lean back even if it’s not helpful for the note.

Dude that's jimin he sings 6 notes higher than any normal male singers😂. He can stay in chest voice while going in upper range while most will go for head voice or falsetto. I am laughing hard he can so much higher than that😂.

i feel like most the leaning thing with bts is more for the performance than for the singing techniques, they are known for having amazing stage presence, even when they are not dancing, it's captivating the audience, their facial expressions, hand movements, dance moves...ect bts's performances are always top tier, you can never get bored seeing them live. They might not be the best singers ever technically, but their performances are always great anyway.

I love the leaning, imaging them sitting at one place not showing any emotions with their bodies while singing such an emotional music. When they lean i can feel their emotions a lot more.

You must be the one of the most unique vocal coach I've ever watched. Your explanation and analysis of their vocals almost sounds like criticism of their voices when they are singing without criticism even when you are praising their singing.😂 I think also your low-key demeanor to the reaction makes it appear you're just spouting nonsense when you are not and a viewer can misinterpret your analysis if they are not paying close attention to what you're saying.

but i really like how she analyze the members voice. it's all on point. and i think she is the youngest vocal couch to react on BTS. don't mind others saying it's just that because they are fans (normal for them to be protective of their idol) who can't accept or misinterpreted your reactions. but she is doing the right thing, it's her job (thumbs up)! I just hope & wish she will not be intimidated with the fans comments, otherwise this will be her last reaction. poor girl :-(

I mean...if you just listen to what she says, I dont really think it's that hard to comprehend. She is pointing out alot of the same things other coaches do, when reacting to the bois. But it is kinda interesting, that your natural assumption, was of her being critical.... so anyways, Borahae 💜

I can really tell that you have expertise in music and I appreciate hearing about the anatomy of their technique, but I would have love to hear your opinion about the sound of their voices and why you like or dislike them. If I only heard you talking, I wouldn't have even known you were talking about BTS. Maybe your next listen to BTS you could share more of your personal thoughts.

I like your analysis and alot that you had to say. As for the leaning it would be weird if they just stayed still the whole time especially since they're performers and dancers, they naturally move their bodies. If you watch all of they're performances you'll notice that they never stay still.

Thought it was funny how the leaning threw you off for a bit 🤣 but really loved when you got into technical explanations about compression ect, really enjoyed your reaction! There's some more updated 2020 versions if you want to check out them as they've matured 💜 fun fact : jin (the one hitting the triple high note & the one at the end) actually had no singing experience & didn't start singing until he was 20, he's worked hard to get where he is so thank u for the kind words!

The bend is A technique for sure but it could also be for show. If you you know Dimash kudaibergen he does a lot of show as if he was acting. But in reality they are calm as you could be.

She's so obsessed with the leaning that she barely talks about the actual singing. We get it's unnecessary! Jeez!

Honestly from what i've learned, leaning forward is one of the best technique when hitting a high note. You get more support without straining your muscles and i can see why vocal line does it so often. They are out there on a world tour performing for 2.5-3hrs straight, the last thing they would wanna do is strain their muscles so if leaning helps why not go with it. On the other side leaning backwards is something usually vocal coaches don't really recommend because that would make it harder to reach the note or keep the note stable and you would probably end up straining your muscles unless you're trained well like vocal line. They have worked hard to master it (eg. Jin in awake leans backward while hitting the high note and is still very stable without straining his vocal cords). Still don't see the point of mentioning it 20 times like she did and it ain't 'unnecessary' like she mentioned. Instead was expecting her to talk more about different vocal techniques they're using or the notes they're hitting.
