Lovebites are certainly no rip-off of anyone. They take from many sources, many of the best ones, but they make it their own and are fantastic in their own right. Make sure to react to more of their songs. There are no bad ones.

LOVEBITES - Edge Of The World lyrics: Why do we learn to hate, deceive and lie, hurt each other? Why does it never end? The sorrow keeps on repeating Wailing, come downpours of the rain Will it end? No one ever knows Wondering, what only time can tell What is at the end of life? Why do we only see our own desires? Greed is endless Why is there authority when there is no justice in their rulings Struggling like feeble, helpless fools Will it end? No one ever knows Wandering, not knowing where to go Carrying the breath of life Standing at… The Edge of the World As long as you're still alive, remember - don't fear standing up, don't ever give it up Until the day you meet your end, it's not over - let your soul shine inside of your heart As long as you're still alive, remember - keep your dignity, stay true to who you are Until the day you meet your end, it's not over - let your heart love and always be loved How you live will always live on As your way of life, forever How you live will always live on As your way of life, forever How you live will always live on As your way of life, forever ----- lyrics: asami music: Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)

Someone reactor from vocal coach like you. Some reactor just mind blowing with instrument music on lovebites. But they don't know how good asami voice. Thank you very much for this great reaction! I'm enjoyed. Hope more Lovebites songs get reaction on this chanel. Next try they song "Epilogue" or "We the united" Stay safe and keep on lovebitten🤘 By the way, I'm sorry if my English is bad.

For Lovebites fans, this is the equivalent of Ghost Love Score for Nightwish fans (I'm a fan of both). It's a big fan favourite. It encompasses the influences of so many bands - Guns 'n Roses, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Galneryus....but it' s pure Lovebites. 🤘 🔥 💜 🐺

Great review of the little (doesn't crack 5') Napoleon stage commander, she controls that stage, the band and the crowd and you have to watch her ballerina moves that make her so graceful. She is amazing as are all these ladies, but to do this in heels, a tight dress (perhaps even with a corset underneath), sing different styles that this band performs and still thunder over the music behind her is truly stunning. I know there are many who feel her style doesn't match this genre or the band, luckily the band disagrees as do I, but there is no denying the talent that is present. Just think she came from a R n B/Jazz/Soul background and was a backup singer before singing metal for this band and she writes a lot of the positive lyrics for the songs that this band does. Here the transitions are flawless and done to perfection as only Lovebites can perform especially LIVE.

Try their songs Inspire and Frozen Seranade. Break the wall for a hard banger, with an incredible breakdown. These women have a great variety of influences. Midori liked Yngvie, and others. Miyako stated many influences, Japanese guitarists, Gary Moore, Hammet, Petrucci, others. Break the wall, is a heavy banger with an incredible breakdown, contrasting solos. You can feel some Metallica, Gary Moore, Gilmor, Deep Purple vibes. Miyako in her many influences loves Deep Purple, Blackmore. And she has a backing track on organ, she does as a Lord nod. Piano, organ, keys backing tracks, all Miyako recorded. My favorite bands in past few years: Lovebites, Band Maid and Nemophila. Along with Nightwish, and few others, command my listening.

Transitions is this song are amazing. The Wolfpack is making metal beautiful again. These girls are something special. Nobody can deny that. They are making all other metal bands look bad-at least in mu opinion. And that is really fantastic. Gotta love Lovebites man-just fantastic

Hi, vocal nerd. Thanks so much for your analysis of Asami’s vocals. Would you believe that some people (very few) just don’t like Asami’s voice. Definitely I cannot imagine Lovebites without Asami. I’m not sure if you know that Asami’s background is R&B, soul and jazz and that she was introduced to metal when she joined Lovebites. I like Miyako’s piano playing. All of them are so talented. Other two great songs with nice piano and vocals are “Empty daydream” and Epilogue” (live)

I have to admit I had trouble getting past Asami's voice even though I had bought the first two albums. It wasn't until "Five of a Kind" that I got it. So maybe it's a live thing as I still think the studio albums are pale compared to their live ones.

My singing days are long behind me, but this was still a wonderful analysis of what Asami is doing. Some fans think she is not suited to singing this style of music, but even they have to be able to hear how great she is. I only wish you would give a little more appreciation to the other musicians--there have been few, if any, groups in rock history with comparable levels of talent at every position. Maybe Cream, and they disbanded 50 years ago. And that slow burn by Miyako? That is singing through a guitar. David Gilmour or Gary Moore would have been proud.
@jmetallover
@jmetallover 3 жыл бұрын
Yes but Cream was only a trio and Baker and Bruce hated one another, leaving Clapton to try and be a peacemaker (He never got Winwood to join Cream, so him and Baker joined him as Blind Faith but that didn't last after 1 album). Still a lot of great music and 4 albums (still have all 4 vinyls) in less than 3 years a lot of it leading edge and experimental especially with the blues. Lovebites honestly are better, no ego wars, total cooperation between the members as well as total respect and dedication to their craft (no fast life style and crazy drug binges). The ladies are closer to Jethro Tull as a group but there is no real comparison in regards talent, they are really in a class by themselves at each position, they have so much talent it is stunning to behold. I have tried to come up with a band I have seen and heard from 1965 on that I can compare them to and I have yet to accomplish that deed.
@hiawatha.g
@hiawatha.g 3 жыл бұрын
@@jmetallover yes, of course, you are right about all of the history. I think of Cream as the supernova--bright as hell but short lived. Lovebites are sort of a supernova that might just keep going, if that's possible. And having that much talent at five positions is really going against astronomical odds. Personally, Tull were not my thing; I might put King Crimson or Pink Floyd up for comparison, but I get the point. But none of them, as you say, had that overload of sheer talent. I named Cream because they didn't just blow my mind when I first heard them, but they also changed the way I listened to everyone else. Since then, the only band I can think of that did that was Nightwish (we probably share that view 😁), and now Lovebites and Band-Maid. I think Band-Maid's songwriting is more interesting, but as musicians Lovebites are clearly in a different league.

@@hiawatha.g I feel like Japan currently has a handful of bands that are at this peak of musicality. Unlucky Morpheus and Asterism are the first two that come to mind, plus BAND-MAID should not be underestimated when you consider how great MISA, Akane, and Kanami are at their instruments and how good of a singer Saiki is, plus Miku plays her role quite well. Babymetal's Kami Band is fantastic, too. I love and adore *LOVEBITES* but to say they're the best at every instrument since Cream is overlooking a lot of groups like Dream Theater and Nightwish.
@hiawatha.g
@hiawatha.g 3 жыл бұрын
@@PaleHorseShabuShabu Well, I did say "few, if any" for that reason! I agree for sure re. UM and Asterism--in my blog I have ranked Asterism up with Cream and Hendrix among greatest power trios. I just hope they last longer than those groups did! And I hope Mio can keep up with Miyu and Haruka in terms of personal development. Nightwish are one of those transformative bands that changed the way I hear music, though, like the Beatles, a huge part of their magic is in the songwriting. They're all strong instrumentalists (much stronger, for sure than the Beatles were). Troy is kind of unique, but I would only rank Marco as truly "top 5" on his instrument. Band-Maid have it all--best songwriting since the Beatles (and maybe Pink Floyd and Nightwish), and as you said, instrument core is top-notch. MISA and Akane are "top-5", i think, Kanami close. My main disagreement is over DT. I am a big fan of Petrucci and Myung, but I can't stand LaBrie, and maybe that just ruins them for me. (I like LTE, their instrumental project, a lot.) So, overall, we're on a similar page. At this level, it becomes a matter of very fine differences, or just personal preference. I do know that once you get hooked on musicians at this level, it's hard to listen to normal bands.
