Honestly I think that's not quite right. Twitter is by far one of the smaller social media platforms out of the big ones. It is actually smaller than even Snapchat. It is better now because it has 2 tabs for your feed. One is the default "for you" and the other is a "following" page so you only see stuff that people you follow posts. For me, Twitter has always been for hobbies like anime, videogames mostly. In my opinion the based move would have been to just stop using Twitter quietly with a hard final post saying "This site isn't worth my time."
