Firearms are an excellent way to project force, so if a private citizen owns several firearms and is well versed in their usage, then they are automatically perceived as infringing on Societys power, whether the owner wants to challenge society or not. Conservatives and Libertarians see individuals as mostly responsible for the outcomes that they face, so any policy that reduces individual control is perceived as an attempt at enslavement. You have the Neoconservatives who will allow for some individual control, and you have the libertarians who want near total individual control. This is why 2A is so contentious with Liberals and Conservatives.

Just gonna say that basically everyone who is on Praise of Shadows side has (mostly) anime pfps, ignored any criticism towards him (like what they accuse the other side of doing), made his takes seem less aggressive and inflammatory while they make Wendigoon's and his friends' (or just general associates) takes (that basically don't exist and were mostly made up) seem crazy, found weird randos who come out of left field with the craziest stuff and put them on blast (though this vid kinda does the same thing). They make their opposition seem insane while they sit there on their computers fighting ghosts and friend policing. They also pick out some SUBJECTIVELY bad stuff (stuff their *extreme* political views say are evil) and make it out like it's OBJECTIVELY bad without saying exactly what is bad about it. Wendigoon's apology (that he didn't need to do) was the most adult thing here. And defending yourselves and your friends against slander is needed or else it'll get out of hand. The Detroit Appalachia argument was also wild, pretending like there's no black people in the whole region while saying there's white people in Detroit along with the whole attached argument. These "leftists" are crazy and you could write a book on all the reasons why.
