Stop giving Elon musk the credit for paypals success. He was so bad at his job and was losing so much money that he got fired, but got to keep his equity stake. So the new ceo helped undo Elons mess and eventually sold it off which is the reason that elon got his amount. He would have bankrupted paypal.
