Very interesting. But why not squirt in contact cleaner and not remove circuit board.

I wanted to fully cover the whole thing in alcohol, so I can also remove the dirt stuck under the buttons. With the board in place that would be a risk.

@@UltimateDIY Good point, but as a first step maybe try to spray tuner cleaner under keys with circuit board still in. With board removed, have you thought of trying a small ultrasonic cleaner on she'll. Thanks for this useful diy process. The fob on my 2011 S5 withstood being in clothes washer. After replacing battery, to my surprise it still worked fine. So cb may be sealed reasonably well Cheers

Sadly, currently I don't have time to work on the car. All car videos that are being released are filmed a while ago. I will do an update of the maps, but when I have time.
