Excellent work. That's a great improvement in range since upgrading it's battery.

Hi, very good job, thank you very much. Looking at your beautiful work gave me an idea for my Twizy. Rather than replacing the 14 cells of the Twizy and using the control wires of the original BMS, it would probably be more efficient to place these wires across 14 resistors connected in series as a voltage divider between the 2 terminals of a 16 or 17-cell 3.2v LFP battery equipped with its own BMS. In this way, the Twizy's BMS continues to read the correct voltages, while the battery's BMS with active balancer manages the new battery. What are the dimensions of the useful internal volume of the battery envelope? This is to find, for example, prismatic LFP cells and why not double the Twizy's capacity.

Looks like you can get the 90 kms you were hopeful of.

Well done. Like it. She's the Twizy have a balancer and did you top balance the cells before assembling them?

What year twizy do you have? Mine doesn’t give you those extra 6km after turning the ignition off and on. As a comparison my twizy with a powerbox achieves 70km in the summer here in Italy, travelling at maximum 50-55km/h. It’s a 2012 twizy with 42.000km and 74% battery health according to the powerbox. To achieve the 70km range really do drive in a conservative manner. Otherwise my range is about 50km. Currently at a temperature of 10-15 degrees I would expect to get 40-50km range if driving in economy. I’m also looking in to doing a cell swap as I purchased an entire renault zoe 2021 52kw/h battery pack. It uses a 2P 8S module configuration, comprising of a total of 12modules. I have used them for my home solar victron setup, and left 4 modules for the twizy experiment. I’m prepared to have to reconfigure the individual pouches that comprise the modules as to achieve the twizy’s 14S configuration and using all of the available space in the battery compartment. For this I might have to buy a Cold welder to weld the contact tabs. I must say I do a lot of drifting with the twizy so my battery is quite depleted as it gets abused when in max power mode leading to a high current going through the cells.

been looking at the cells you replaced the old batterypack with , was about 1200euro excluding the shipping from china , taxen and fees , a 2012 twizzy can be found for about 3000 euro with a batterypack or 2000 without (you need the batterypack for the electronics inside it ) could probably get a little better price if you wait on a good deal and jump on it fast all in all i think you would have a good running electric car for about 4500 to 5000 euro wish to me seems to be a good investment considering wat they ask for a original batterypack to own or rent guess it does charge the pack from the original charger

did you ave recharge this new batterie pack with the twizy charger ? and how many time it will take ? you make a very good work on that batterie updade !! congratulation

Guys, your content is amazing, but for one thing...the horrendous music, seriously it ruins your videos. It makes the videos hard to watch.. Great work, but I can't watch any more because of this horrible music. 😢😢😢
