I was very surprised to see the show last another 4 years without Charlie Sheen. Kudos to Chuck Lorre et al, but I never watched another episode when Ashton Kutcher came in. Saw bits and pieces of him on KZbin, and thought he was terribly weak, but the show survived and did well. What do I know? The show lost the primary dynamic between the brothers, but did retain the Alan-wives, Alan-mother, Alan-Judith, Alan-Jake story lines, Sheen might have been a creep in real life, but he was seriously funny with great timing, and the writing was top notch.
