2 Automata prototypes that use a Pear Drop and Duel Eccentric cam shapes to define their movement as the camshaft rotates.
Further refinement ahead to produce continuous sustained movement.
As a school project, this is suitable activity of exploration for Y8-Y10 students, in the fields of STEM/ STEAM, Engineering and Design & Technology.
