Sometimes, unfortunately, injured or abandoned wild animals don't have the potential to survive if released. Sunny and Sherlock are blessed to have loving homes with dog and cat siblings they view as equals. As long as they feel safe and have adequate food and ATTENTION, they should all live happily ever after!

I never have and never will wear killed animals fur and I am 100% both anti hunt and anti killed animals fur now and forever! I feel like saying the farmers were wrong is a bity subjective. Obviously it sucks the fox's parents died, and ideally they should never have to. However, even as an animal lover myself (foxes being some of my favorites) the farmers do have a right to defend their livelihood if the foxes are killing off their livestock or family pets or eating their eggs etc. That said, glad these ones got saved.
@Cara-hm2tl11 ай бұрын
I am afraid I don't agree. I would love to have chickens one day and have animal family members myself but would never agree with or hurt a fox, no matter what. If an animal sadly gets taken by a fox or bird of prey, that is the farmers fault for not properly securing and/or protecting their animals and besides, foxes, birds of prey etc, know no different, we are supposed to! Those "farmers" have no right to take another's life just because they consider those certain animals as "pests"! I just hope Sonny's parents managed to get away and survive.

To be fair..the farmers weren't wrong. They kill livestock and are a danger to cows, sheep, goats pigs and horses etc. ( broken legs from the holes they dig. They hunt and kill chicken, ducks..every kind of bird and sometimes cats etc. The odor of the pee IS ABSOLUTELY ABSURDLY STRONG 😢 and I could go on and on. The farmers are correct and NOT the villains of the story. My family has similar issues on our land in Montana. That said I have 2 foxes, 2 coyotes, and 3 100% Wolves and 1 wolf dog, as well as 2 cats a Pitt and a German Shepherd. We have many animals but the ones I just listed are MY pack. They ALL sleep on my king size bed ( custom-made . About double the regular king mattress) my pack roams the property while I'm at work ( police officer) and..it's like the prototypical "dog human cat" situation. I don't worry so much about our livestock and farm/ranch animals because my "pack" will run them off. However, my neighbors do have to contend with the wild example of most of my "pack". ( family and employees run the family ranch) I should mention that foxes, coyotes and Wolves help farms in terms of mice, rats, and ESPECIALLY marmots, ground hogs, and moles etc which destroy the land and cause injury to your herd animals. I believe that the distinction which is never mentioned in videos like yours is the one between a family animal and a ferral one. You show cute, loving, safe etc examples and leave the impression that they are all like this and farmers, ranchers, etc are evildoers. Their lively hood depends on the herd animals and crops etc which are damaged and killed..and that means ALL of us are in danger. You get to live in the fantasy of all animals are friendly etc and you drop by your grocery stores with abundant choices and conveniently push aside the truth of where and how that food gets there. I believe any animal can become loving safe family if they have abundant food and attention. Then ..like you they don't need to source their own food and can look down on the "evildoers" who DO have to do the work of providing the food from source. Here our biggest problem around this subject is that we have a MASSIVE pack of wild dogs and they are extremely aggressive and dangerous. Every type of dog. From people discarding them or losing them or they've escaped. Side note- livestock dogs are great but you ( those who are protecting livestock) should add in a Donkey or two. They're very protective, strong, unafraid AND super badassery abundant. I'm happy for you to have this love in your life. I hope you and those you care for are happy, healthy, and safe this new year. Semper Fidelis
