I don't know about that. I feel like Paige puts on her "playing dumb" act more and more as time goes on, and Pat seems to be loosing energy and getting legitimately more sour and mopey over time. Watching something like this or Paige's Undertale and Bloodborne streams and then watching her more recent Dark Souls 3 streams, it's like night and day. I mean Paige has always been a bit goofy and sometimes she would make mistakes, but she's still clearly a smart person. It feels like most of the time in her more recent streams though, she acts so goofy and incompetent that it has to be act. I mean she was not always this bad, at one point in time she beat Bloodborne and could fight bosses from the Souls games pretty competently. And Pat just feels like he's become a more grumpy and depressed person as time has gone on. I mean, I'm sure Paige and Pat are happy with each other, but for a while now Pat has just seemed so miserable and like he doesn't give a fuck about anything whenever he streams. He also just seems to hate his own audience more and disrespects them more as time goes on as well. So personally, I would say they seem really different now than they did a few years ago. At least on stream. I honestly miss what they used to be like before Paige started playing up the "haha I'm dumb, also I have a weird fetish for skeletons" act, and Pat became so much more miserable at grumpy at everyone and everything.

He gets paid to literally sit on his fat ginger ass and play video games; makes a pretty decent chunk of change doing it; has a very attractive and sweet fiancé/wife (not sure if they are married now) and does a somewhat successful podcast with Woolie. He has it a lot easier than he did with Super Best Friends because he doesn't have to edit any sort of videos or make any scripted content. What does he have to be depressed about? If he's feeling really that fucked up then maybe he needs to take a break from streaming and go seek some sort of therapy. I mean he lives up with Canada with their "free" healthcare he can probably get an appointment easy. As for Paige, she probably plays up being dumb because Pat and Paige knows that part of their BNB (Bread and Butter) to bring in viewers so in a way, her playing dumb is actually smart.
