@Edson 3000 : Nah, it's not talked about much but there's clearly some genetic 'yes we took the time to actually create robo-ova' bullshit going on with the AmadaAI. By which I mean it's probably a machine which creates actual Ova through gene therapy and biology rather than a robo-ova made of metal. Since there is ova, that means that it needs a spermatoza 'mate' in order to unite and begin cell division -- which means that, disregarding philosophy, the offspring of their union would absolutely be 'their children'. The plan is for them to become indistinguishable from humans despite at the genetic level being 'more perfect' and without having any chance of disease and so forth. There would be no humans, yeah, but speaking from a practical evolutionary stance there 'are no humans now'. None of our proto-ancestors live today despite our evolutionary differences; we are the 'Mk 21 Human' model - there's no Mk 1s left in the world. We're simply the 'improved model' that has less of the flaws of our ancestral genetic line; what the Amada AI is doing here is exactly that, just on an extremely fast timeline compared to the slow and 'gradual, playful, tinkering' approach nature prefers. Given that it's a slow coupling through time, it'd just mean that in 4 generations of breeding with the new hybrids the amount of 'original genetic code' from their human predecessors would be less than 3%, presuming the hybrids begin to breed with other hybrids and humans. It's just very very very very very slow gene therapy being delivered to the entire human race, effectively. Presumably if the humans responded to this development by 'attempting to perfect the human genome' themselves then they'd likely just arrive exactly where the hybrids were already taking them. As for whether the result is 'human' -- well, our brains are organic computers to begin with. The main difference between a mechanical android and an organic android is one uses electrics to power its systems - and the other uses chemical reactions just as we do. The line that would separate a true AI consciousness planted in an organic body with an organic brain would amount to differences in processing information, unless the brain organization and chemical markers would also be the same -- in which case they would be by all means 'no different', presuming their brains are encoded with all the usual instructions ours have, which seems likely since they're built to take in our genetic code -- our 'blueprints' for the human body.

This has been one of the stupidest plots I've seen in a game. I mean, sure there've been games with more *unlikely* plots, but none that have made me go "Wow, everyone involved in this is an idiot" more. There's plot holes too! Why does Cain save the day at the end? Shouldn't he have been trying to kill the people aiming a rocket at the AI that's controlling him? What does capturing Amada actually gain anyone? How were they planning to get it out *after* they nuked the location??

They wanted the AI to bolster their robotic forces and weaponry, thinking they could somehow control it and not have it murder them like Amada. Cain likely broke through control when the Ai's robotic decoy was shot, plus distracting its focus for a moment, or the sheer power of friendship caused it to ascend beyond its programming and regain control to help. The US Military overestimed their fighting power and underestimated Dan's sheer camraderie with his pals. and the Major underestimated the length of time the nuke would take to hit.

My problem with end bosses like this is that they're always so terrible. There's no build up or even a hint of personality, let alone some sort of unspoken yet hinted dislike between the major and Dan. It never feels earned and it sort of is a huge blow to the rest of the game, at least in my eyes

So would the Rust Crew kill humans born from testubes as well? I mean those people weren't born from a mother so... But I can kinda see the problem with those superior humans, but clearly no hostile intent was in the Hollow Children or their offspring. Plus the kids are humans just evolved a bit, there isn't much making them different really.

You know, if Amada stopped Ammozon from selling their ammo and upgrades in the Amada building, the Rust Crew would be screwed and the game would just be over.

Nah, you can easily beat this game without buying ammo the whole game, let alone the amada building. They'd have to stop having ammo boxes lying around everywhere and do something about all the guns robots drop

The only superhuman thing Faye did during gameplay was jump up one floor during her boss fight. 25:02 - First thing I thought, "Is this the extra ending in RE 6?"
