Lol. I just commented on the Sportster Scrambler build saying the only thing I would want is under seat extra fuel. You guys have thought of everything. Combine this and the Sportster Scrambler and its the perfect bike.

If I won the lottery this first thing I would do is contact you guys, rent a shop or studio nearby and collab on build. I would pay to be an annoying shadow learning and watching along the way. I wouldn’t buy a house or retirement plan. Just a vast series of hybrid vintage scramblers and adventure bikes.

Some interesting aspects to this bike. My Honda Innova (ANF125) has a tail tank like that one. I like the change of wheels / change of style, I might try that myself (on the Innova!), also the easy luggage removal. Was the handling so bad that it had you all over the road like that? Not good..

Love the bike but for the $ most would have to do it themselves. What was the cost of build? As most dr650 people own the bike for the minimal cost to customize.

That probably correct, but most people dont have the skills to finish a bike to this quality. We provide the experience and skill to those who either can't do it themselves, or want a higher level of quality on their custom bike.

@@PurposeBuiltMoto I live and ride in NSW. I've got 3 registered bikes. 1 dirtbike and 2 road bikes. The cops around here just hassle everyone. I've had 1 of my bikes defected for "non standard indicators " and 1 I've had to get noise tested twice , it passed both times but a noise defect comes the threat of registration being canceled until it passes epa noise regulations. I assume nothing. I speak from experience.

That sucks for you, but nothing to do with our bikes. We use street legal lighting (available in our store if you want to stop getting defected) and make sure our bikes are built right

I am amazed. I’ve always thought the DR was for cautious tech geeks and cuck motorcyclists. A DR rider would be the same man that wears a sun bonnet and zip off cargo pants or a grown man wearing a helmet riding a tandem rad bicycle. Finally someone has changed my mind about the DR. They always seemed goofy, bulky and underpowered. Now am wondering if I am becoming a convert. Who knows, maybe I’ll even have pronouns one day…

@ Damn, is it that obvious?!! 😂😅 I always thought KTMs were a pretentious suburban dad bike since I came up around two stroke 500’s. I’ve actually spent the last week researching the 1997 two stroke 380 to see if that maybe a suitable option compared to a stroked big bore 576. I am on the fence. Sold my TS 250 flat tracker in the hopes to build a TS 400 in the meanwhile fell in love with the TT500 along the way. Stumbled upon your incredible builds in the process yet I am now 40 years old and boarding the KTM train for reliability, versatility and decreasing testosterone levels…. You called it man!! 👨 ♿️ Going to look at the Ktm 576 on Monday 👏
