it always suprises me being from the Uk and holding a Class 1 license (artic license), that here in the Uk & Europe we run a 3 +3 combination @ 44 tons max GVW with our trailers being either 26 pallet or 28 pallet configuration, but in the USA your box trailers are 53 feet long and much lower overall max gvw, as for the non DEF, it is virtually impossible to find a non ad blue artics or rigids (unless its older) here in the UK/europe its just a fact of life emissions regulations dictate, plus we have electronic tachographs & tachocards that record literally everything strange but true, they are readable by VOSA even when your moving via bluetooth if they are travelling beside you, now thats big brother :(, if your featuring bulk operators try Turners Transport of Soham proably the UKs single biggest tanker operator across multiple sectors

Oh wow.. We are ecstatic to see we have viewers from the UK! That is crazy, really appreciate the insight from how things are across the pond. Maybe we'll have to come out and make a video how trucking is different in the UK vs USA.

I spent 9 months working for a food grade tanker carrier based in Florida. Never again. Lots of rules and requirements. The biggest pain in the @$$ was hauling for Cargill. They will only accept tank washes from THEIR list of approved washes. Once that tank is washed for one of their loads it expires in 18? hours. It's not for everyone.

Mr. Jesse, NO way on God's green earth you drove 8,000,000 Miles in 47 years. Maybe team driving, but then you only drove 4000000. You had to drive 170,000 miles EVERY year for 47 years. No vacations, sick time, ect. Kilometers but not miles!
@williamjesse83572 ай бұрын
@glenackerman214, well maybe I did, and don't run team as even the past few 3 or 4 years I've put average 150,000 thousand on the truck believe it or not it's okay, there are drivers out here doing this

Switched to international? I understand the cost difference. But internationals are the most unreliable piles of shit on the road. The only thing reliable about them is they break down constantly. I'd at least get a freightliner. The paccar trucks are more expensive. For as quality of the cabs. International has nothing even close. The fit & finish of a paccar cab. Is a premium product over the rattle trap cabs of an international.
