Awesome operation. Awesome friends you have as well. Growing up in Vt. we did a little sugaring and have my brother who does it at a much smaller scale.

Just had our last boil out here in WNY. I was happy my RO was getting to 6%, I didn't realize the big guys are getting 26% out of their RO! Good video!

That was a real in depth report of the whole process, well done indeed! 👏 Interesting to see how natural and positive all acted in front of the camera. Maple Syrup, you can find it in the stores here in Sweden but it isn't common at all. However, I remember from when I lived in Holland/The Netherlands, it was a rather common thing, maybe the american influence since the war, which was clearly noticeable in the eastern part where I lived. And now Russia might throw us into it all again, really do we never learn? 🤔

Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. Maple syrup is everywhere around here. Haha. The market is slowly growing in Europe for Maple syrup.

Since Canadians were instrumental in liberating the Netherlands during WW2 they sent us Tulips in gratitude. I'm sure Canada reciprocated by sending Maple Syrup. Win,win.

Very interesting video did not realize just how much was involved in making maple syrup. Out of a gallon of sap how much maple syrup do you get?
@802Farmers2 жыл бұрын
It’s sure us a lot of work that people normally don’t see. It depends on how good the sugar % is. The higher the % the less sap it takes to make a gallon. But at 1.5% sap it takes about 58 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of maple syrup.

How many taps do have? Would you be interested in up to another 5000 taps for 2024? I need to move as much as 16500 gallons of sap.

Why aren't you bottling the discharge water? Maple water sells like crazy on the internet.
@802Farmers Жыл бұрын
You need a lot of it for washing the system. Storage for it and bottling is harder than you think. It’s a lot of volume to take in on a short amount of time.
