Y'all looked pretty evenly matched in cars and driving ability. I think I have the most fun when I find someone I can run with and we don't impede each other.

Pourquoi une traction ? ;-)

car c'est la seule chose qui te manque comme tu as lock le sujet on peux pas en parler avec toi ;) a moins qu'il y ai une 4RM dans les tuyaux ;)
@Taurim8 жыл бұрын
Non, pas de 4RM. Si je prend quelque chose, ça sera un daily pratique... mais un daily plaisant ;)

You would have had the Focus RS if the Porsche driver did not get in your way. You are very polite. That was a great race.

Thank you. We are 3 friends with similar cars and experience. We did this lap to follow each other and have some vid of it as I was the follower car. So no intention to overtake each other ;-) This kind of laps are the most enjoyable ones :-)

@@Taurim that looks like a lot of fun!!! 🇩🇪 I have a 15 Focus ST and I wouldn't be able to keep up with you guys! and I don't know anybody who has a car around here except for WRX Subarus, I'm in a club but no one seems to want to go out that often maybe once a year! I'm in northern Arizona near the Grand Canyon and we have a couple of choices of curvy roads, so I see some people out there once in awhile. (Mingus Mountain - Hwy 89 near Jerome) I was in the US Air Force overseas and I noticed and also on KZbin as well that Europe loves their cars! They have for many decades, they have higher-end models than America. There are a lot of enthusiasts in the US but nothing compared to where all of this started and how great cars are still designed and built with no expense spared it seems, European cars, not to offend any manufacturer in or outside of the US, manufacturers overseas outside of the US, still invests a lot of money in technology and excitement covering every aspect that's beyond our understanding to these cars and keeps the sport alive.

I'm not too fan of turbo engines and dual clutch gearboxes. So no. No Clio 4RS for me.

How did you set up the Harry LapTimer on the Clio 3 RS ? I have the Iphone app connected to an ELM327 WIFI OBD but gives you only the Battery Voltage.
@Taurim8 жыл бұрын
I did not perform any special setup except entering vehicule data in HLT. I was using it with OBD Kiwi Wifi (ELM327 based).
@ChrisPhares8 жыл бұрын
Do you remember what vehicle data did you put in the HLT ?

How satisfied are you with the Adrenaline RE002? I chose them as a second set after the OEM equiped CSC3s and found their performance severely lacking, at least compared to the Contis that is. They're awful in the wet and in the cold but they also tend to go overly soft in the heat. What's your experience with 'em?
@Taurim8 жыл бұрын
That's quite surprising as I'm very satisfied with the RE002 on road and track. With the good pressures they are perfect (for road tires) ! If you watch this vid when I was driving the Clio on the wet F1 track Saturday : kzbin.info/www/bejne/honVZY2EpcRnmdU you will see the performance on the wet is absolutely amazing ! The other good point is they do not wear on the front external shoulders on track like the CSC3 did. Pressure used on track : 2.5 front and 2.3 rear (hot).

why was the porsche driver driving a bit erratic, slowing down then accelerating and slowing down after. Good driving as always mate. Maybe your phone could be placed a bit better so it doesnt cover some of the road. kudos

I really don't know. You see strange behaviors sometime during Nürburgring Touristenfahrt ! Thanks ;)
