I found the explanation very clear :-) I was confused by one point at the end, however: in English, 'I like to jog when I am happy' doesn't mean the same as 'when I am happy, I like to jog'. The second could be taken to mean - 'at those times when I am happy, I like to express my happiness by jogging', whereas the first could be taken to mean 'I prefer to jog whilst I am happy - I don't enjoy jogging whilst I am in other emotional states'. The first is about my jogging preferences; the second is about the activities I like to do whenever I happen to be happy. Which one does "我高兴的时候,喜欢跑步" mean, and how would you express the other in Chinese?

wow, great question! "我高兴的时候,喜欢跑步" is closer to "at those times when I am happy, I like to express my happiness by jogging". To express the other, we would say "我只喜欢在高兴的时候跑步" ， which means I only like to jog when I am happy.

First of all thank you very much for creating these videos ! Is it correct to say that 午饭的时候我去公园 and 午饭时间我去公园 have the exact same meaning, if not what is the difference?

午饭的时候 = when I have lunch, 午饭时间 = lunch hour. The first is referring to the point of time, the second is referring to the chunk of time. In this case, the distinction is kind of vague, therefore both of them work in practice. But with 时候，it would be more precise if you say 吃午饭的时候 or 中午的时候

Yes，空(kong4) only means ”free time” when it’s used in the phrase 有空 or 没空. It’s primary meaning is “empty / vacant” or “emptiness / vacancy”.

Why in 我高兴的时候、 喜欢跑步 时候 is used? Isn’t it about a chunk of time? Shouldn’t it be 时间 cuz the we are talking about continuous time?

Thank you for your question. As you can see in the video, 的时候 could be translated into “the time when”, in your question, it’s not about how long “you” feel happy. It’s only about a general spot of time you feel happy. On the other hand, if you want to express ‘during/within (a certain period of time), i.e. a chunk of time’, you could use 在…的时间里. e.g. 在坐车的时间里，他喜欢听音乐 During the time on bus, he likes listening to music. Here 在…里 means ‘inside/within’, i.e. within the chunk of time. Hope my answer helps.
