It's actually covered in the 5 tenses video. 不+verb = do not / will not + verb; 没 + verb = did not / have not + verb-ed.

Somewhat similar to the 是...的 construction, I often see a 会...的 construction, but I've never seen an explanation for this. For example, for "He will be late", I would say: 他会迟到的 (although the sentence is correct without the 的 ending). But for "The plane will be late", I would say: 飞机会迟到 (without the 的 ending). The sentence-final 的 seems to be used to emphasize the person that will do something.

他会迟到的 is a subjective prediction usually said after some pretext. But 飞机会迟到 is to tell a fact. Similarly, you can also say 要是雪还不停，飞机会迟到的。

I suspect there's another half before 来 in your sentence. If that is the case, 来 means "to". You can see it used following the pattern: " do something 来 do something else".

This is a “Subj + to be + adj” sentence, similar to the pattern explained in the first half of the video. It can be “completed” with an object as 人生是很奇妙的(东西)。the particle 呢 gives the sentence a pause, which essentially turned it into a topic-comment structure, used to emphasize the subject here.

Hi, there, I guess you are talking about the sentence 是昨天和我在公园一起玩球的. Here, verb is 玩(play), object is 球(ball). So if your partner knows what you are talking about through the context, you could omit object 球 here. Then it becomes 它是昨天和我在公园一起玩(球)的.

First of all, the pattern is only used to emphasize something happened in the past. So you cannot use it to describe something happening tomorrow. The other problem you have is not to use the foreign language class as a description for the homework. So to change the sentences a little bit to describe something happened yesterday, I will rephrase them as: 我是昨天在图书馆里做外语课的作业的。or 我昨天是在图书馆里做外语课的作业的。

The first example didn't really feel like an instance of the 是…的 pattern. 這是我朋友的小狗. It's just "is" and "posessive". They aren't related, right? Like if I said, 我朋友的小狗在哪裡? the 的 is still there. I'm only a beginner but I feel this is misleading.
