Two-Face Or Penguin? Who is the Bigger Threat To Batman?

In this new series of videos, we will be comparing different Gotham villains and trying to come to a conclusion on who poses the biggest threat to Batman. They all have their strengths and weaknesses, but someone has to be the most dangerous. Throughout this series, we are aiming to find out who.

I really like this idea for a video series. I really hope you take suggestions for future mashups as well. I personally would have gone with Penguin though. Of course not in a direct 1v1 fight - in that case, Two-Face has the clear upper hand. But when it comes to who is a bigger threat to Batman, I think Penguins' ability to strategize, avoid direct conflict and just the sheer amount of resources he can throw around would end up making him the bigger threat if he really sets his mind to it. It's a shame that we rarely get a threatening Penguin anymore in Batman media though. Don't get me wrong, I like it just as much as the next guy if Batman beats up Cobbleput for information, but lately, it feels like that has become the sole role for Penguin - which is not really fitting for a character as ambitious and power-hungry as Penguin is.

If you look at them as individuals the Two-Face because Penguin will hide behind his henchmen and is typically fat and out of shape while Two-Face will fight Batman and is usually in shape. With resources then Penguin since he is typically one of if not the biggest crime lords in Gotham.

Penguin has a machine gun umbrella that can allow him to fly he can fight fine.

I think it depends on the type of threat. They're both excellent strategists with connections all throughout the Gotham underworld. Penguin has more resources and protection, but Two-Face is more actively violent and unpredictable. Two-Face’s main "weakness" is that he's a struggling hero half the time (or should be), while Penguin tends to hide in the shadows rather than confront Batman in a fight. I'd give direct confrontations to Two-Face and background influence to Penguin. Two-Face affects Batman more personally, while Penguin corrupts Gotham more over time.

Penguin has the resources to take gotham's criminal underworld empire, but two-face has the drive to make it happen for himself. Case in point during the event of the long halloween Two-face marched the gotham rogues to take over Falcone's Empire. RIP Richard Moll 🙏😔, thanks for your portrayal of the gotham DA durning the animated series.
