Friction folders just don't appeal to me but I do have two K'roo Barlows. Willem O'Kelly sure makes some beautiful knives!!

Nice looking knives BUT . . . I can't think of a situation where given a choice, I would choose a friction folder over a slippy or locking folder.

If made properly they are an option and after the first day it feels normal.but like you I like my traditional knives.but I do collect anything knife related.atb paddy

Hey Pappa! I got a question - Is it still considered a friction folder if it has a liner-lock? or any locking mechanism for that matter? Love that monster blade on the 1st, the smaller one is more than efficient! I'm very interested in sharpening a convex grind....my sharpening skills have not kept up with the new steels & odd grinds. ATB2U Pappa!
