Leola Hampton was one of 18,000 kids bused across the city as a part of a 1974 court-mandated effort to desegregate Boston Public Schools. As the city marks the 50th anniversary of the beginning of busing, she and her daughter Maya Scott joined Boston Public Radio to reflect on the legacy of that violent chapter in Boston history.
