Lacrosse official here... for the first clip, it's important to know that a lacrosse goal is not defined by the line on the playing surface (like in hockey or soccer) but instead by the plane created by the three posts. So a goal can be off its line and therefore the line isn't useful anymore. It's more of a guideline during settled play. A goalie is not allowed to purposefully move the goal in order to prevent a score, but if they knock into it in an attempt to make a save, the line is no longer usable. Instead, it is purely just the plane created by the posts. This is because a lacrosse goal is not anchored into the playing service like a hockey or soccer goal, therefore far easier to move with incidental contact (as a former keeper, I would have to fix my net after nearly every possession if I had to hug the post at any point).

The Olympics and the World Cup/FIFA are notoriously uptight about their precious names and footage. It's asinine because North America is a fkn HUGE market that could benefit from Jimmy's hard work with breakdowns and such. Hell, I watched the T20 Cricket World Cup and loved it because of Jomboy. (Edit: I live in Salt Lake and when we had the Winter Olympics here in 2002 none of the local businesses could use the word "Olympics" or their 5-ringed logo on anything. Wasatch Brewing had a great beer named "The Unofficial Amber Ale of a Sporting Event Which May or May Not Occur Every Four Years", or something to that effect.)

Yeah, that goalie in the lacrosse game definitely hit that goal on purpose. The NHL goalie basically does a little flip, lands in the goal, wraps leg around the pole, then has the pole between his legs and still doesn't knock the goal off it's anchor.
