Two good trout in one run

During this session I had some nice trout by irish standards, I mainly fished with nymphs and some dry fly. Class fishing from that hole. Was impressed how you landed the first one out of it without spooking the swim. What tippet are you using with the NZ style setup?

Lovely video. What river is that as I’m looking to join the Dundalk district and I’m wondering is that part of it. Some fantastic fish. Do u recommend using a nimph on small fast flowing rivers?

Yes that's on the fane, the club is open to everyone, it's 40 euro for the season it's cheap fishing, I think running nymphs through fast flowing water is a good way to get them,

Absolutely class fishing! Love the one that brought you downstream. Class. Is there a stocking programme on that river ? You seem to pull a belter out of it very frequently, some of our rivers here in Limerick have the hungriest lookin trout in em

Táin Flyfishing sneeking up on the fish would be key then when water is at that level I’d say. They would see u very handy. Silly question but I’ll ask you anyway. As a rule of thumb, is there such a thing of too deep and shallow of water to be nymphing
