Looking good bro! Contractors don't deserve blame.

Nice road the ppl need to remove those ugly zinc fences. Eye sores. Overall beautiful improvement

This section should have gonna a second layer of asphalt. With the soil and amount of rain in this area, a single layer is not enough

In Jamaica people walk a lot, so while the main roads might be good, it would have been even better if proper side walks were provided for pedestrians, especially in populated areas. This is one of the things I've noticed with all of the road improvements

No reason for local contractors to get bad name and be left out of the rest of the programme. This is a well-done stretch of road. Great transformation from what it was. The government just needs to ensure that these contractors who performed are fairly compensated so they can finish up any outstanding work. It is clear that they stopped after they could no longer manage to finance the works.

Already there is vegetation growing onto the roadway. This could lead to accidents as drivers attempt to stay clear of the vegetation. This is no fault the contractor but it is a point worth mentioning. I also agree that the road seems to be low when compared to the land elevation.

To answer the question about what happened at Font Hill was the Copey Duppy saga. Big attraction as people from all over would come to visit. Coming home from Morant Bay High School one Friday afternoon our bus driver decided to detour via Font Hill and I experienced and saw some happenings that confirmed that something very very strange was happening there.

Looks to me like a piece of the newly built wall at 29:21 has fallen off into the river...

Where will the water in the Stewart Field to Trinityville area run? That section of the road will be like a river when it rains. The roadway is much much lower than the side areas with poor or no drainage! Will those areas be eventually marked with white lines? Sorry fi wi!

Very disappointed with that large water puddle within the roundabout that is newly constructed. They knew water was settling at that exact spot and they didn’t think to make a small incline for it to run off the road

The road is perfectly fine for what the government asked them to build and able to afford for this section. Local contractors shouldn't be blamed for stuff that's outside of their control. Give the good performers more work.

Stop talk like this. What you call good work?

@klarityflexjamaica You don't think S&G did good work? The Belvedere stretch looks pretty good me. This stretch isn't perfect, but good enough for the plan they were given.😅

no signage, especially telling people to slow down around school, commercial and residential zones

The sides of the roads including the drains are already compromised! Please highlight the road maintenance, otherwise, we're going to lose these beautiful roads that we're excited about. The garbage/debris on the road is going to block the water channels! You're looking at the "road" but I'm looking at how it is being taken over by bush, poor driving practices and NWC and its digging up activities! Why has the pipe laying not being done behind the drain areas, at the sides, beside the bridges etc! I'm concerned! I observed that there is a severe lack of drainage in the most critical areas of this stretch of beautiful roadway which means that the road itself has been left as the waterway! This spell TROUBLE when we have heavy rains! What has prevented the absence of white lines on both sides of the roads? These are critical questions! So far it looks good but will it stand up? Thanks bro!

Joke ting dis bro....i see a lot of faulty stuff.....trees are gonna start growing in the leaves and dirt left on the side of the roadway and pretty soon the width of the roadway will be back to where it was before....mi feddup wid the lack of maintainance by the managers of our country....joke ting bro

It is OK however I'm not too impressed, especially with the amount of aggregates or construction materials left along highway. There is hardly any shoulder in some parts, and the road will be taken over by plant life soon, if not kept in check.

Well let us speak up about it,its a different Jamaica where social media expose everything so let us demand a major cleanup

Those zinc fences along the road way need to go. Not a good look. Home owners and the businesses along the corridor need to spruce up the place It makes no sense having nice road on one hand and ugly curb appeal. on the other.
