Well, I’m wondering how I’d be possible since as a truck driver, I’d have to work up to 14 hours a day and maybe have two days off. And to my understanding, you have to be available pretty much on call if you’re dispatching for an Owner Op. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

Technically, at this point you don't really need one. Most smartphones can scan documents and with a good PDF editor you can complete and sign most of the documents. But if you want to have printer/scanner as a backup, you can go for the cheapest option.

You can check out listings on indeed and other sites to see what's available. I worked for a Logistics and Freight Forwarding company for 7 yrs.. And realized a lot of this I can do and run myself with Dispatching freight to truckers and being consistent. The emails paperwork and communication are easy. If I can get help with what all I need to do my own Dispatching I know I will be awesome find for others.. Please let me know what all do I need for the Load Boards, Do I need a LLC and how can I get this to work?

Brent, if you are the owner of your company you can immediately fire a dispatcher who is not being honest with you. However, if you are working for someone as a driver, then we can assure you, that it is the owner who wants to keep you out for as long as possible in order to generate more revenue, not a dispatcher. P.S. Most of our clients prefer to run from Monday till Friday and spend every weekend at home. Our dispatch team has absolutely no problem doing so. Therefore, there is no need to lie to anyone. Just work with honest and transparent dispatchers.
