It's awesome. I use my Tonex pedal presets and turn the cab sims off. I use my Two Notes DynIR's (much better) and then post processing with enhancement, compressor modulation and time based effects effects. My Pink Floyd sounds are spot on. David Gilmour would be suprised and would sell all his vintage gear if he heard it😂🤣 Maybe less options then amplitube but I think this is a good thing and it is more user friendly. Good work Two Notes!!! Let's see what the future brings....

It certainly can sound like a Rockman 😑 great pseudo Def Lep tune mate. I am perhaps a tad cynical but the technical blurb the PR teams chuck out in the way of sales pitch with most software such as this comes across as insincere waffle BUT I’ve been sent a free trial and the proof is indeed in the pudding. All the best Jamie ✊🙂🇬🇧

Thanks for getting in touch. In terms of OPUS and ReVolt, you would essentially use GENOME at the tail end of these hardware devices for cabinet emulation and post FX! If you need any guidance on configuring this, let us know!
@LoveGuitar632777 ай бұрын
Installed and hope to dive in this weekend. Messed around a little and if it had an auto-wah I could have done some funk tracks with my tele. right off. So, it's not an all-in-one in some respects. And it's a less than intuitive interface that'll take some time to suss. I found it works with Garageband on an i5 iMac running Catalina; and Logic in Big Sur on my 16" MacBook Pro i7.
@RossDaviesTwoNotes7 ай бұрын
Ross from Two notes here - rest assured there are more FX on the way! The Auto-Wah is certainly one of them! :)
@SixStringAlliance7 ай бұрын
I think that’s a very specific effect, and still feel it is an all in one solution. I can record the raw tone, of my amp, add a DynIR, dynamic processing, post EQ and post effects in one plugin, so in that respect it is very much all in one. But yes if you’re using it purely for the modelling aspect as Ross has said there’s more to come.

Sounds great! What drums are you using for the leppard track in the beginning? Awesome!
@SixStringAlliance7 ай бұрын
Thanks Glenn. I made this kit myself!! As I was going for a Def Leppard sound I layered up both Simmons and Linn Drum samples. The snare was a Simmons snare, a Linn Drum Tom and a Linn Drum handclap on every other beat. I dropped the samples into Groove Agent to build the kit. I also ran parallel compression on the kick, snare and toms. It came out sounding pretty era authentic.

Could you turn the gate off so that people could hear the amount of noise and hiss the software amp produces? Two Notes need to work on that.
@SixStringAlliance7 ай бұрын
I do turn the gate off. If you checkout the chapter you’ll see me turn off the gate, as well as show how the gate works. As regards noise, if you’re model/profiling amps you’ll replicate noise. The amount of noise will be dependant on the type of amp or profile, amount of compression, addition front end drive, the same as a physical setup. Amps at high gain, amps with boosters/treble boosters all make noise. The gate provided is excellent, I use it on my Boogie touring rig with in Captor X. Two notes have worked on it, with an excellent gate. You can’t model/profile amps accurately with out introducing the noise floor.

Ross from Two notes here! Sure, there are similar products on the market but we have some proprietary tech inside of GENOME that really lets you dive deep into your tone! If you have any questions concerning it, I am here to help! :)
@SixStringAlliance7 ай бұрын
Agreed!! If a piece of software is done right then it will produce an authentic guitar sound, which this does. What this does that others don’t is enable you to use DynIR’s with modelling or your profiles, plus it eliminates huge inserts and auxiliary chains to produce a tone with a physical amp. You can work with a DynIR plus all the post effects in one place, as well as utilise DynIR’s and power amp modelling with your preamps deals or racks. So in that respect it’s a very different piece of software.
